Tropics Update: Uncertainty over disturbance in the Atlantic

One area the National Hurricane Center has identified for potential development is hundreds of miles east of the Lesser Antilles. While dry upper level air over the region is limiting shower and storm development right now, that could change in the coming days as the disturbance moves west-northwest.

The environment may be more supportive of development, and the National Hurricane Center shows there is a moderate chance of development over the coming week.
