To all who caught my error. I am old and misspoke, the plane is not certified, it is experimental amateur built.
  • Got a behind the scenes tour while Toby was getting that one together. Jealous was an understatement. He’s definitely fun talking short wings with.
  • Big shout out & THANKS Trent for letting grandson Grayson & Papa Pilot Pat get a great photo op with our favorite YouTuber at KMAN🤙 Keep Flying low, slow and safe! (Thanks Ty Ferkin for Trent coming to Idaho’s backyard backcountry often)😎

Love the straight tech talk with a builder. Great stuff.
  • Owned a ‘54 PA22/20 with a 160 hp climb prop. Also had VGs. Great value. Easy to fly. Thanks Trent for covering a great option to get into aviation.

Trent, @StuPierce77 pretty much summed up what I was thinking about posting. It was very decent of you to feature one of your flying buddy's aircraft on your channel. Toby was beaming from ear to ear regarding the recognition of his built aircraft! Toby's humble attitude but very informative commentary is what the GA flying community needs to keep promoting! The brother and sisterhood of Back Country Flying is an epic experience, I'm sure! I thoroughly enjoyed this video, showcasing other aircraft, and it is due in part to the humbleness of the recognized individual! Maybe a little more formation air to air and a wingman fly along, if possible, would be another awesome adventure! Thanks for sharing!

Great job Toby on that Pacer...thx Trent for showcasing his build.

DAAAAAMN. A 39' 7' wingspan is awesome. I thought my DA40 had a crazy span. Must be a similarly healthy wing load. Trying to find a hangar that wide is another story I imagine. For me it is.
  • I got in touch with an out fit that does glass panel conversions. I got a complete set of gauges, radios incl 2x VORs, breaker panel EVERYTHING FOR $680. i already had an old Garmin Colorado GPS I use for hunting season so I use that for back up navigation and a Nav app on my phone as additional back ups
  • Thanks Trent, I love the build showcases you have on these different airplanes! Keep up the fantastic work!
  • Thank you so much for showing this, I saw his airplane on another one of your videos the other day and wondered what all the specs were on it.
  • Trent, thanks for this informative video. A beautiful aircraft.
  • @StuPierce77
Trent, cool feature of someone else's plane. Interesting to hear about planes on your channel.
  • Love seeing more Pacers!! Definitely one of the best bang for your buck aircraft out there. We love ours!
  • @tmshaffer
Great looking plane. Loving these vidoes
  • @UKDrew
Awesome as Always Really enjoyed this one Thank you
  • After I saw the opening shots I thought to myself, "the only thing Pacer about that is the cockpit." Then first thing he confirmed it. Impressive all the way around.
  • Hi Trent, another great video and it is great seeing differnet planes and hearing the thinking that is going on with the design. I don't know if you are going to be in Idaho on May 4th, but the Mountain Home airport U76, East of Boise, is going to have a fly-in in the morning. It would be fantastic if a bunch of bush planes dropped in for a visit. Thanks for your great content!
