Tride never fails to... make 3D objects in GD...? wtf...?

tride never fails to further confuse me on the geometry dash editor

Tride Never Fails™ To use a gradient trigger

Imagine what Spu7nix is going to do with this.

You can rotate an object an exact amount around another object by setting up a rotate trigger to rotate it that amount, then entering editor playtest mode, pausing and then copypasting the rotated object. The duplicate of the object will count as not having been rotated and won't reset its position when you end the playtest.

Man I can already imagine big creators using stuff like this to create straight up animations.

Tride tried making a tri-dimensional figure with with 2.2 tri-ggers.

I had the idea to use collision boxes to fix the layering problem with 3d objects made using gradient triggers. I never figured how to execute that and just gabe up. Nice to see other people like you came up with that idea as well. And you even managed to execute it nicely! Gd is gonna be so powerful with this gradient trigger lol

Great video! Using collision triggers to know which face is in front is insanely clever🔥
  • @zmemosh1.
cant wait to have 4d by next month!!

I was on AudioVisual’s streams when he was building his platformer. Cool how we both take inspiration from the same guy

You can put -1 in the move time to make it infinite like the infinite button in the particle trigger does
  • I would've likely simplified the collision group stuff to a sequence trigger instead of individual groups and triggers/ But non-the-less, this is very impressive!

Ive seen some crazy things done with the gradient trigger. I hope you can master it and get some more creator points with it.

This Video helped me. Thanks Tride!

WOA! Congrats, that looks sooooooooo cool!
