Stimulation can be great. It can keep us curious and engaged in life! but it can be too much in our tech-driven, information-rich world. Here is how I find a balance.

This woman does an excellent job, too. She always has an excellent message. She teaches on her channel how she transformed her life into being minimal. She shows her wardrobe & how she matches her clothes to own the least she can own. She is a smart cookie, she has a financial degree in something. Her & her husband live in Hawaii & she explains everything, like how by slowing her life down, they then rented out part of their home to afford a calmer lifestyle. All of us Soldiers need to do this because the over stimulation is unhealthy!

2:06 „the fresh of breath air“ made me happy for some reason lol, I jumble my words all the time I feel not so alone now
  • It’s kinda crazy how nobody’s talking about the book womens magic truths on borlest
  • @sarahogue
That’s the definition of a priority: something we HAVE to do. So much toxic “productivity” surrounds us, that even a basic need like sleep has become “ self care” as if it’s an indulgence. Thank you for the gentle reminder of what life can be. ❤️

I've also started catching myself listening to podcast whenever I'd be washing dishes, doing laundry, brushing teeth, flossing, showering. The negative side of this is that constant listening allow me to think, reflect and hear the voice of my conscience, Spirit or God, because my ears are always busy. I am going to start working backwards to allow myself space to think.

Tech-free mornings and a wind-down routine are such a important part of my day, something that I really look forward to. It helps my mental health imensilly ❤️

I love being a hermit, for periods of time. Sitting in a quiet cinema, with popcorn, or going on a hike in nature. You can be your own bestie. One more thing, about sleep, I find its good to "cradle the mind" in that hour before bedtime. Think nice relaxing thoughts, or dont think too much at all ; but certainly, avoid upsetting, draining complicated thoughts. Thank you for your work, I've been an appreciative follower for a long time. ( ps. that little dog is a cutie )

As a highly sensitive person, I’m always drained at the end of the day from feeling and sensing things at a heightened level. I really struggle with sleep as I require more than the average person does to truly feel recovered from the constant stimulation around. I enjoyed your video which encourages those to step back from the noise and find balance from the productivity-demanding societies we live in.

I loved this entire video - so many meaningful messages. But I must admit I giggled at “fresh of breath air” at 2:08!🤭

It's actually incredible just how strong habits can become, like being on your phone too much. It becomes muscle memory and a part of your day, but the minute you take a trip, spend a few busy days without it etc, you get back on it and wonder what the hell you were even doing on it all those hours. Sometimes you really need to just dive in the deep end with these awful habits and feel the discomfort - it's only a thought you're experiencing, which is an illusion.

I can so relate to the constant background noise and I'm trying to cut it out a little bit but I have such negative intrusive thoughts these days that if I stay in silence for longer than 5 minutes, I think about painful things and get depressed. I know it's a quick and unhealthy fix for now though, so I'm looking forward to finding other ways to cope. Thank you for that beautiful and thoughful video, I enjoyed it a lot and you are have such a relaxing voice that it truly made me feel at peace for a moment ❤

Im glad I found your channel. I was hospitalised for a week and had to take a long break from work due to several health conditions that were triggered by toxic environment & systems and people. After seeing this video, it shows that im not alone. Thank you for speaking your mind to the community and the world. The world needs to hear more of ‘slow things downa bit’.
  • In our world it's easy to forget that we don't need to have the latest item and how important it is to have a safe and calm space. I love watching your videos because it reminds me that I don't need more
  • @aidaortiz7219
I can identify with you. I love how calm your tone of voice is while you explain these factors that contribute to sensory overload, and learning how to relax, release, and live in the present moment. This is such an important factor to protect your health. Thank you for sharing! ❤

Thank you so much for this! You just helped me do my chores in silence which allowed me to think thoroughly, and now I have the urge to deep clean and donate my belongings that have been sitting unorganized for months. The importance of space and organization even when it’s hidden is a great reminder for peace.

I'm Italian and I think that the fact that Italian subtitles are available, is really sweet. Thank you 🌷

I always gain this sense of calm and motivation after listening to you. Your work is so valuable to me. Thank you.
  • This is just what I needed to hear. I feel like I am often distracting my inner noise with exterior noise and therefore never finding piece. I recently starting "parenting" my phone and putting it to bed at 9:30/10pm to help me get distance from it. Thank you for your videos they are great.

This video just came across my screen and I am so glad it did. You are so right about all of the stimulation that we receive. As being a "pre technology" child, I can compare the differences that advancement has made in our lives. It is for the good, but it is important to stay healthy with a balance. I, personally, have had sensory issues later in life and understand how precious this detox is. I am looking forward to more of your content. ♥
