Magia Record Game: All Transformations

Since everyone else is sharing their Magia Record story... Making this video was like book ends for me. I became interested in Magia Record because of online magical girl transformation compilation videos. I was a day one player for the North American server-- I became really obsessed with the quotes the girls would say, so I started my first youtube channel and uploaded clips of what they were for anyone else who was curious. This grew into recording Magical Girl Stories, Events, and Log-in stories, but it was a slow process. When the NA EOS was announced, I dealt with my sadness by recording as much content as possible. I actually damaged my eyes by focusing on screens too much. I became acquainted with the Magia Union Translations server and started recording videos for Antimony and friends. Then a bunch of copyright claims started to go out, targeting the music used in the videos. At this point I started hosting and paying for a google drive to upload everything to just as a backup. We were able to get videos back up by filing disputes but we were all really nervous for a few months on what to do. Additionally, since a bunch of channels were now no longer hosting magia record recorded game content, I decided to make this second channel and host those too. And at the end of JP EOS, I've gone full circle. I started by being interested in this game because of the cool transformation video compilations, and now I've made one of my own. It's a weird sense of closure. I'm not a youtuber, I barely know what I'm doing with editing and I don't earn money off this channel lol. But I really loved this game. Thanks for reading :)

I really am going to miss Magia Record, because for how much Madoka Magica is such an inspiration to me. The only regret I really have was discovering this game after the American Server shut down.

IroKuro being the last unit is so bittersweet

Man. I remember when I saw that Magia Record was coming to America. My mum and I were so happy when it finally released. (I had watched Madoka with my mum and she LOVED it). I remember saving all of my gems for Tart for when she finally was released State side. I had a good amount saved up, but I NEVER GOT her. I forget why, but I had spent my gems on something and RIGHT after I did, Tart released. I was so frustrated with myself. Mum and I had a decent enough laugh over the poor timing on my part... And then, here comes my mum, casually coming over to me "So I got the girl you wanted..." Needless to say. I was a LITTLE bitter. XD My mother later got Godoka as well. Needless to say, she had all the luck We were both so upset when we heard the game was ending in America, we were both so upset. And right when we learned about Little Kyubey having a drop in Japan. I was so excited to grab the little guy. But, ah well. I would show her some of the new characters that would drop, and she ended up not liking where some of the transformations went with how...*cough* Fan servicey it got. But she also had expected that from the start anyway. I was showing her one of the newer characters when I found out the Japanese servers were ending. Like...wow. We didn't expect that. My mother and I haven't found a game that peaked our interest and KEPT it quite like Magia Record did. The closest for me was Pokemon Masters EX, but even that didn't keep my attention like this did.

Something this game was great at was distinctive and strong characters. And for the most part, every single transformation portrays at least one notable characteristic and style. They’re all memorable, and every single one is at least one person’s favorite. It’s a wonderful achievement, and I’m glad to have been able to enjoy it during the game’s lifetime.

Magia Record was the reason I discovered Madoka Magica and how it became one of my most favorite things and it also inspired my ocs so if it didn’t exist I wouldn’t have been able to create them

Wow what a journey. I remember hearing about the game's existence around it's launch, but my phone at the time was too shitty to even play it. I then got a better phone and got the game around the second tart event and I have not abandoned it since. Magireco was a really special game and I'll miss it dearly once it shuts down. See you in magia exedra :') Edit: the summer alts have some banger music, especially the Amane sisters. And after all these years, my favorite transformation remains og madoka

Magia Record what a journey... this was the first game i was so serious about playing, I joined the EN server and when it shut down I migrated so fast to jp because i was that in love with the characters and story... I read so much lore, i was so deeply invested in the community, it brought me so much joy and now its all coming to an end... I hope we'll get to see all these wonderful characters once more in the new game... Iroha and co you will all always have a special place in my heart

I’m gonna miss this game so much! I stopped playing as often in recent years especially after NA shut down but watching this is giving me so many memories, it makes me happy that the fandom is still here cherishing every bit of content we have

I remember seeing one where all the girls transform at a very high speed with the music of rebellion "We're here for you"
