  • As a Filipino, it should really be banned, in fact it should not have been allowed in the first place.

Last year, the Philippines 🇵🇭 authorities closed 175 Chinese gambling organizations, and deported 40,000 Chinese nationals who entered into the country and worked illegally, many as online scammers and other shady activities.

POGO funds Philippine’s universal healthcare. But POGO is actually illegal in China.

Chinese government doesn’t allow gambling. You are one step closer to them. Congrats!

Oh no! there is a certain “Addams Family of Davao” that must be stomping their feet and swearing up and down at this unraveling of their anti-Filipino misdeeds!😢 I guess the Middle-Kingdom and its crime-network subjects will now be.....doubling-down on ravaging the social fabric of other ASEAN countries who are still willing to dirty their knees for them...
  • @vincesiy1403
It is about time. China has been asking the Philippines to ban POGOs since the Aquino Administration. But Aquino and successive governments keeps on delaying citing revenue losses etc.

The international law is very clear on the South China Sea: - parts of it belong to some ASEAN countries including the Philippines 🇵🇭, - the rest of it is the international water, - no part of it belongs to China🇨🇳 or Taiwan🇹🇼.

It seems that Philippines doesn’t care much about unemployment.

Good move. All countries should ban gambling in any form. Casinos in Las Vegas, etc should be closed down.
