I've been thinking a lot along similar lines, not so much what is a must buy as what are the things I already have and need to pay attention to and care for for the rest of the my life. Picked up a Heat Straps Truckman off of your rec, have loved it so much that I ordered a Chief in Tan with the cord collar. I love that on spite of being rugged work pieces you can dress them up or down.

Another great video, partly why I have Jim Green boots and a pair from Franks boots. That Ciano farmer chore coat you mentioned awhile back can be had with a wool liner. That or the Heat strap/weather wool from this video are my next to get.
