  • Liberty Prime hollering about stomping Communism out of existence while ruthlessly crushing Enclave forces and the “spiritual” successor of the pre war government of America is a kind of rich irony that only the senate, excuse me, Palpatine could appreciate in it’s entirety.

Love the Storm Goliaths a very unique solution to Fallouts giant robot power problem. If Stolz ever made a mobile weather machine the Goliaths would be an unrelenting force in the wasteland.
  • That fact that theres people that actually believe Frank Horrigan is stronger than Liberty Prime makes me laugh.

This is another great video, here's hoping that Vault 63 will be further expanded upon in a future update cause my favourite robots have to be the storm goliaths.

I think that the Chimera and Spider Drones actually existed. Ironically, the equipment inaccuracies gives some evidence. All of the weapon inaccuracies you mentioned for the American side (Fatmen, the newer Vertibird model) were still projects that were conpleted pre-war. That means that the weapons used in the simulation had some basis in reality, even if the time frame is off. That means there has to be some basis for the Chimera tanks and Spider Drones. I mean, we know for a fact that the other equipment used for the Chinese in the simulation actually existed (the stealth suits, assult rifles, and the general's shock sword).
  • Here’s my head cannon for Liberty Prime. The Brotherhood needed to head back west but Liberty Prime couldn’t fit on the Prydwen assembled and disassembling would be to risky/impossible. So they just set a destination on the West coast and had him walk there. The Brotherhood knowing he’s basically invincible figures he won’t have any problem crossing the country. They would probably install a tracker though… just in case.
  • My 3 favorite Giant Robots from Fallout are 1 Liberty Prime 2 Storm Goliath’s 3 X-42 Giant Robo-Scorpion

I love how the war in Fallout was started was because of resources, but then we got stuff like this XD
  • Obviously video games have an issue with properly rendering scale, whether it be population or the true size of land or objects. But I always find it funny how small the tanks in fallout are, especially the ‘chimera’ considering that it’s really not big at all compared to modern tanks.
  • Would John Henry Eden count? I mean he is pretty big, I guess the computer has some moving parts.
  • It’s so cool hearing about West Virginia from a video game/movie. I was born and raised in West Virginia my whole life. I moved away from there about 5 years ago. Still very cool they used West Virginia as a location for 76

The weapons to surpass Metal Gear! 😅
  • @Upbreaker
I was just watching and realized I was here when it was 13 minutes old (in release terms) great video, one of the more comprehensible robot guides.

The airship in the fallout series is the Prydwen, this is because canonically the Prydwen is the only airship to be rebuilt by the Brotherhood of Steel.
  • Goddamn fallout 76 kinda goes hard. Those tunneling machines are horrifying.
  • @ye4thorn
A Motherlode weighing 12 tonnes is like nothing, I would expect the head alone to weight more than that.
  • Was hoping for some more lore about Motherlode. There’s some weird self-aware AI stuff going on there (with the whole “remembers” thing, ect. )
