In hip-hop, there are few figures that fit this bill quite like James Lamont Prince, better known as J Prince. The driving force behind Houston’s Rap-A-Lot Records, the former car salesman turned high-powered hip-hop executive has become one of the most formidable figures in hip-hop history.

Don't be afraid of no man that bleeds red.
-
This man does for people so they can be indebted to him forever. Very dangerous.
-
Ngl I got J Prince mixed up w Jay Prince and I was like "damn but I love his R&B melodies!"
-
Here before j Prince gets this taken down
-
I just don’t understand why people think they’re untouchable..
-
Always be the most wary of the man who speaks that carefully. This is a man who knows how much he can say to get a message across without actually saying it.

His sons grew up rich in mansions and fast cars. But they wanna go around intimidating people, making people “check in” with Mob ties Gang?🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣as a father j Prince failed. How you have all that money and still not prevent that
-
I don’t listen to NBA YB but I actually built some respect for him holding his own against J prince
-
This dude set his charisma to 10 and speech skill to 100 😂
-
If overrated was a person...
-
Respecting someone doesn't mean you fear them.
-
I now have a little understanding of why Quavo and everyone else who was in that bowling alley is quiet.
-
He has some sort of complex. Why do you want so much respect? Go out of your way to make sure people respect you? You have your own island. Who really cares how people feel about you?
-
You can argue that Suge Knight was on his way to become the next J.Prince. The difference between them is that Suge Knight was messy with how he conducted his business.

I'll never understand mfs gettin they kids mixed up in this mess. My youngun just hit 18 and I was thinking about the fact that when I was coming up we weren't very confident we'd see 18, much less 25, and if we did it was only cause we were locked up or our granny hit the numbers - maybe. But my kid never even had to think about that kind of stuff, ain't never felt a handcuff, never gone to bed hungry, never had a friend die much less the dozens I saw die before 18, never went to bed with the sounds of gunshots, sirens and people getting beat, really never experienced any of the stuff we did coming up when, where, and how we did. And I couldn't be more thankful that all the grinding and time in cages and hustling and then moving, gettin a W-2 job, killing myself to send em to a good school and all that really did pay off. Not everybody gets as lucky as me, I caught a lotta breaks, and I ain't one of those people that thinks hard work always pays off cause it most definitely don't much of the time and more often than not people are pretty much stuck no matter what they do til they hopefully catch a break, some never do. My point is just that even if I was still in the streets doing all that I'd never want my kids anywhere near it and none of my homies would/do either. But this man got all kinds of scratch and is letting those boys run wild with his name and finances. Makes no sense 🤦🏽♂️

I wish yall would stop praising this man
-
Even J Prince can't save his sons now.
-
Do only rappers have to "check in" you don't see Taylor swift or justin bieber even Post Malone having to "check in" when they go to Houston.
-
Prince family has blood on their hands...

I swear, the good DIE YOUNG and the bad LIVE OLD... How the fuck did Suge Knight make it to age 50?!
