Thanks for the tips. I’ve mastered surviving in the woods using creeks, fishing polls, and animals. Mastered this because vanilla was hard to find food on a full server. So I always went to the woods after finding a tool to make a stone knife. One I got the knife it was on. No I’m going to combine this and base building.

Stealth and patience cannot be separated: One thing is that you make less noise when sitting still or moving slowly, but the real reason is that first you want to find out more (is that guy alone, where's he going, what's he doing there) and to do that, you need to remain undiscovered. If you don't care cough Ray Ray cough , you can do without the patience, and thus without the stealth. But you can't do without travelling light: Stamina means a lot, in every situation from melee to healing to sniping, and of course to getting to the action in the first place. Nice pointers :)
  • You're probably my favorite channel for learning tips and tricks for DayZ. I have learned a ton of things that have kept me alive, as I am a solo player most of the time. I also appreciate the fact that you do show times when you have failed at something and you don't try to look like an unkillable player. Keep up the good work.

OK thank you for most great vid in YOUTUBE so far, I get rid of my back pack, vest, heavy boots, spare everything, no food to carry. so much lighter now, I go back to woods.

Great tips, I have used some in my gameplay and it has made a difference in the outcome of some encounters. Thanks.

wait, you had me at "pick your first loadout". I don't even know where to find food in this damn game

Hmm, my problem as a beginner is not that i am equipping and collecting all the epic gear at once. My typical game goes like this: I spawn somewhere, immediately hungry and thirsty, can't find shit, get sick somehow, find something to eat but i does pretty much nothing to my hunger, don't find shit and then i die 😂 I have done this run twice a year since the very beginning of DayZ.

This was actually super helpful I been playing for a while an this guy just recruited me to the freshie ninja play style

Great content. Great refresher for the folks who've been around some also. Keep up great work👍
  • yeah, I've been playing for a couple of weeks, and I'm hording mele weapons and knives like a madman. Good video
  • Nothing is more dangerous then a new spawn. Someone with nothing to lose and everything to win. Worse case for them they get a better Respawn. Best case they get all your gear.
  • Great tips I play solo alot and good points! I Never use Bright colors, movement Always gets notice first,so move slowly but surely. I'm Alive from a bunch of KoS ( 2 Guys) because I used the zombie movements to move while they shooting 2 other Guys plus the zombies to go prone and stand undected at 2 meters of them. Myself I take 10 Mins to watch a residencial area to decide if I try to loot it properly or go just One or two Gomes in the edges and get out before getting noticed.
  • @sCareCrowmerk
That's me, got the game yesterday and I legit pick up every ammo type I find and also food🤣
  • @nevaeva7333
Thanks for the tips. Gonna start my first game now.

Hunting for food is a big one and knowing the towns which are more quiet so you can cook your food fast with less risk is very important

I tend to lately running light, not because of stealth reasons but I feel more free. No stress about loosing my stuff. Sometimes I am runnings with pitchfork sometimes I find dropped unlooted player and become Rambo and sometimes it is just a man Vs nature. Me and my squad lately doing also fun challenges... Like trying to cross map on HC high pop server like bear grils with knife and lighter and your stealth guide helped us immensely. I wasn't aware after hundreds of hours about clothing noises

Good video, but I’ve always found that being really geared and having tools and weapons for most situation while still having at 35% or more stamina keeps me alive the longest. I understand The packing light argument but the only benefit is higher stamina, worst comes to worst just pop an epinephrine. I’m not saying hold 200 rounds for a gun you don’t have, but it’s it’s better to have a sniper and a AR then one or the other, also not having a plate Carrier has killed me a million more times than not having enough stamina, but still a great vid 👍
