I hope she changes her mind. I just love her!! I’m so glad you decided to come back. You have no idea how much we missed you!
  • @anned8443
Thank you for addressing the changes. I find myself here on YT less and less. As soon as an influencer starts the sells pitch, I am gone. Yes, they are out to earn a living, but I am not their customer. Luxury unboxings are not my thing. I click on the new makeup and a few fashion hauls. I do enjoy your straightforward talking points about everything.

I feel like the economic situation in our households + influx in “influencers”/youtubers + ordinary people not being able to get said luxury items = decline in interest overall. It was one thing when I had money and couldn’t get a simple wallet or bag because of its popularity… now that money is tight, turns out, I didn’t want that after all 😂
  • @suebrewer1649
I agree about Lydia. I rarely watch her videos anymore. I feel like so much of her content is garden-related and clothing tends to be brands she’s working with. Shea Whitney is another one that changed. I don’t care for the “10 things that make you look bad” or “Amazon items you need” videos. Apparently, they must do well though.
  • Love your channel and authenticity Melinda! I’m in the beginning phase to my own “luxury journey”. I’m finally in an age/financial place where I can afford things like this and I definitely didn’t grow up with luxury items. I’m realizing I’m entering this space at a weird time, a lot of people are leaving, the price increases are discouraging, etc. Videos about intentionality or mistakes/learnings have been calling to me. At the current prices, I don’t want to regret a purchase, so hearing from seasoned collectors about their learnings is super helpful. Some collectors also have bags they think are/are not worth the current price, those videos are interesting too. Share the wisdom! 😊❤
  • I’m new to this community. I watch smaller handbag YouTubers not just for the content but also because you like them are relatable, honest and entertaining. Deb just had a video about this topic. Her information was on point.
  • @MariaT3
You are so correct. I have seen the changes in a lot of my usual youtube people. They are so fancy now. lol. It's so uninteresting. I find it amusing when my regulars all start wearing and promoting the same silk blouses. And the same old items from the upcoming Nordstrom sale. You know it's coming. haha
  • @stargazer5271
After all, after a while of collecting luxury handbags it just doesn't give me that excitement anymore. I haven't been buying luxury handbags and what quite interesting is that contemporary brand such as Coach is my new interests. Some of the Coach bags that i own are well-made and i can justify spending money on them over the over-priced items that i buy because of the brand.
  • I think people are sick AF with luxury price increases and increasingly POOR quality. I'm talking to you Chanel and LV...$10K for a Classic Flap, CnC machine made, painted and peeling leather...no thanks, I'll buy Vintage - 90's and earlier.
  • @cherob2182
You’re really the only luxury YouTuber I watch. I watch makeup, decorating, and faith based videos. I love to watch flower and vegetable gardening.
  • @Mona-mr1cd
Congrats on your 30k reviews!!!! Saw your video notification and had to check this out!
  • I really hope that Jerusha comes back as well. Luv the both of you💕
  • @Lily993
I love your honesty and sincerity. Your channel is one of the very few luxury channels that I follow. Yours and Minnie’s (Minks4all) are probably my favorites nowadays.
  • @janehex
Hi Melinda! TBH I have unsubscribed from almost every luxury channel at this point, I only watch the very few who I have watched for years and have interacted with on a more personal level ☺. I even unsubbed from Cassie, which I never thought I would do. But generally I don't watch hauls or shopping vlogs at all. I don't buy that stuff anymore. I would rather watch channels about reading, personal improvement, spending and saving wisely, cooking, dogs, and then lots of music and comedy content too. I like a little bit of everything, but I am just not interested in overconsumption content anymore. Congrats on 30,000!!

Since becoming Mom during the Pandemic, my style has changed a lot. I like simple, light (most nylon - Lululemon and Kipling) bags for everyday. I still look at and buy luxury at least once a year, but only things I like and find functional rather than what's "trending" at the moment..
  • Congratulations on 30K. Love the photo of you on IG with your LV straw Cap! Keep enjoying it! I started watching you and YouTube lux almost 6 yrs ago to figure out what to buy in luxury. I still want to see others showing what they bought, why and how going use, wear/tear and styling so I can decide if right for my lifestyle. But not seeing many of those videos lately. Also hoping Jershua will return...she is awesome source of info and an amazing person! Have a wonderful weekend!
  • @SundayRose99
I agree that luxury YT has changed so much. I schedule only a small amount of time to catch up on new contents loaded by my YT-friends…. Including your channel 😍♥️🙌🏼 I’ve cut off watching most of the large channels. I can’t watch the large hauls/unboxing anymore…. Yup, overwhelmed by it all. I’m in it for the social aspect and the virtual friends I have made. My channel is so tiny and the last upload I did was months ago! LOL 😂 I might make a new video soon, need to find the time! 💕♥️🙏🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼😍♥️♥️

So true Melinda, I have really cut down the people I follow.
