When the wife says you’re on the couch pssssh I’m goin in the truck baby 🤣🤣🤣
  • So I fish bass tournaments and I have many that are hours away from home. This is what I'm planning to do to have a place to sleep for multi day tournaments away from home instead of getting a hotel room for 100 plus a night! Thanks for taking the time to make this video!
  • This is a very smart design for 1-2 night stays and provides safe, dry sleeping without messing with a tent, ect. Thank you.
  • @dylonhubert9453
There is so many creature comforts in this, I’d love this setup! The heated blanket idea is genius!
  • @westfester859
A long way from tree houses and forts we built as kids with scrap wood. The feeling of freedom still remains. You did an outstanding job on this rig with craftsmanship and thought process. Its always an outstanding night when a new BWO and CrazyQuady adventure pop. Enjoy that rig to the fullest.
  • This is such an amazing build, I love watching the ingenuity of peoples builds but always ask myself "why" when it comes to stuffing them to the brim with features as clever as they are. The simplicity to me is what draws me to your builds.
  • @krisalan5327
I have a small off-road camper, so I'm not sure why I watched this entire video other than it was totally cool! Minimalist and efficient...well done thoroughly enjoyed it.
  • I'm right there with you with the idea of "less is more". I plan on using my tent as much as possible but have the option of staying in the back of my F-150 if the weather is terrible or I don't feel safe enough camping outside alone. I will watch these other videos with elaborate setups but just to find that small, little detail that I could use for my setup, like Quady's cot organizer, that was a genius idea! Awesome video 😁
  • The “carpet” on the tailgate makes it homier, not homlier🤣 Love the work👍
  • this has to be the most simplest and most useful truck bed sleeper set up for a weekend getaway.
  • One of the coolest 'minimalist' builds that I have seen. Thanks for sharing.

No walk-in tub? No ceiling fans? Come on Brian! Sheesh!
  • @trishaleaver3581
My truck is similar. Same grey interior😀 tho I added very high quality turf to the floor of my 8ft truck bed. It ensures that the Bedrug does not get worn out and the turf is so thick it holds on to stuff that get put back there. It also insulates it. Being an 8ft box I had room to build an storage shelf at the front of the box about 18 inches deep. The shelf rest on the top ledge of the bed rail. It’s mostly used to store tools for work but doubles as storage for camping. My wife and I have used the truck to go to summer music festivals and avoid the $350 min per night hotel cost. Plus it’s fun.
  • I love the simplicity and the cleanliness of your build. Awesome job! I want to build something like that for my F150 soon
  • @jang6591
The CamJam/paracord combo was a great idea for securing the truck cap back window. Thank you.
  • @kfvernon73
This really brings into perspective to build it as you intend to use it. I'm 100% guilty of this having watched way too many videos and way too many designs of how am I going to fit everything in it when in actuality I'm like you.... 1 or 2 nights doesn't need too much or to be fancy. Great job!
  • Absolutely 💯 LOVE the streamlined build! Functional without all the fussy fluff. Also, love the extra room for PIG too. She's gonna adore the new setup. Can't wait until you post a camp video in it. Bravo well done. ✔.
  • @larsthorwald3338
This would be perfect for me, especially since I don't need to add the bed--I have always slept on the floor at home. I've been looking at RVs, but this makes so much more sense for the kind of short hiking / climbing trips I take. Thanks for the pro tips!
  • @yoranidiot
... we were separated at birth! You're a amost a clean freak like me!! From the look of your garage, to the way you keep your camping supplies contained is me all over. :)) I wish you were my neighbor- I could learn so much and have a blast. I bought a new '23 STX, so not sure when I can afford a camper shell. I carry the dream. Best wishes, Brian!
  • @KJAY2THOUSAND
Love the simplicity of the build, for a good washroom idea try a hunters loo, its a 5 gallon bucket with a lid designed as a toilet seat, toilet paper fits on the carry handle, and they make custom heavy duty double sealed bags. (Best option for comfort, privacy and hygiene (numero dos only imo) considering you can rock a leak against a tree. When done, seal the bag, place it in a garbage bag with the rest of your trash, and keep it all stored in a trasharoo for the easiest convenience. Wish my Jeep was long enough to sleep in the back, but ive grown comfort with having separate sleeping accommodations, roof top tents seem great until you want to go for a quick rip for firewood or to a neat spot
