Experience the complete build of my latest, and largest, DIY camper. It's 6X10, sleeps four, has a shower and toilet and a new, experimental way of powering it with Ryobi 40 volt batteries (as well as shore power). Like my other builds, I didn't hold back when using alternative building techniques just to see if I can pull them off. It travels on a Harbor Freight 1720 lb trailer and can be easily unmounted if needed. It's also my first build that's tall enough to stand up in!

MATERIALS LIST BELOW

If you found this video after the release date, we have installed a 3500lb-rated axle and a set of Rainer radials. This helps the build be the safest possible on the road, although we didn't have any issues with the equipment used in the video. We simply upgraded when we could.

I'm a certified RV tech I work mainly with airstream. But your attention to construction and detail is very good, the construction methods are better than most manufacturers sir .I've seen a lot of different types in my yrs of work. Keep up the good work...
  • Stop criticizing yourself. You’re doing something that most folks would never attempt. I enjoy watching you build and figure things out. PS hello from a fellow WV’an!

I am not a bulider/carpenter, but you held our attention for the whole hour. Your work and narration are spot on. Thanks for posting.

As a retired carpenter. You get my seal of approval. 👍 You should do a video on the break down of cost .

i loved your commentary. i appreciated NO MUSIC playing as it often distracts or muffles words of dialogue. don't change anything. love your style.
  • Carpenter, electrician, engineer, camera man, video editor.... Great work man you should be very proud.
  • @Jaybro8
The sped up "ahhhh" as he sits down at 13:15 is hilarious to me

Dude! As a fellow mini-RV builder, I feel qualified to say YOU KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE PARK‼️ 👍🏼👍🏼 Great editing as well !
  • As a carpenter for 40 years now it’s good to see younger folks working with wood and as a carpenter that tried videoing the making of one of my projects, my hat is doffed. Thank you for NOT using filler music in your videos. That YouTube hamster music drives me crazy. Cheers.
  • @sarahmascara
Not only are you an excellent carpenter, you're a terrific narrator.
  • Thank you for no music!! The amount of information you give us it’s insane.
  • @projectitis
Really impressive, loved it. That hour just went in a flash :) " I'm 200lb in real life and 180 in my mind" - classic!
  • I enjoy videos with no music. I am so impressed with the quality of your build on this. You have wonderful skills.
  • @danaslaunwhite
I have to tell you my friend you’re explanation and commentary is so inviting to listen to. You take your time to explain all of the important concerns that you or anybody else would have I thoroughly enjoy your videos and wish you the best of luck. Keep on building my friend. I gEt you’re feeling you are a very calm and nice guy like most people from the south. Here in Canada we are also known for kindness and hospitality but I find people from the south such as yourself to be much more obliging and humble take care be well and I hope the Lord blesses you and your family with all the best things in life.

As someone that used to caulk trim for architectural windows, my hats off to you sir for your caulking skills and thoughts on preventing water invasion!
  • @ScruffySkillZ
This video was miles better than any other camper build. Extraordinary job friend!
  • I couldn't be more impressed with your design, attention to detail and good old common sense. It is a beautiful little creation! It felt like you thought of everything! Great job!
  • @Valerie__22
Thank you for not adding annoying filler music. Quiet is so much more relaxing to watch. This is well done, both in terms of presentation and subject; the camper is amazing! By the way, you can never go wrong with neutrals (browns, wood tones, etc.) with something like this, as it lends well to the outdoor surroundings. Bravo.
  • @Lcatch415
I'm someone who loves the look of wood! This camper is just amazing!! I watch a ton of builds, campers, RV's, tiny homes, etc. This is one of the most beautiful I've seen to-date!! I have absolutely zero talent to do any of these, but I'm drawn to them like bugs to light! Lol Thank you for this video!! Looking forward to more!! God bless!!
  • @squigglove
I'd rather listen to the silence than the bad music. I love how innovative you were with this build! A shower is a MUST for my future build. I love seeing all you were able to do here.
