It’s been a year since I started taking scooter tow hang gliding lessons at Blue Sky Flight Park in Manquin, Virginia USA. Many ups and downs but I’m so proud of myself how far I’ve come.
Couldn’t and wouldn’t have done this without my instructor Steve Wendt. He is my hang gliding Jedi master!!! Thank you to all the people continue to cheer me on.

  • Make a nice addition to your camp fire tales one day. In the meantime, SOAR!!!!!!!! Great Job!!!!!
  • As you wrote, "...but if you don't give up..." then you go up!!! Congratulations on your progress! I look forward to seeing you at cloud base soon!
  • Nice flying Pilot! I learned how to fly HG at a similar park here in Ohio. Then I took to the skies with a Mosquito NRG FLPHG. Now I fly out of my local air strip just 5 minutes from my home. We are blessed! I enjoy your videos nanoRa. Stay safe and keep chasing those dreams!

Old hang glider pilot, loving watching your progress NanoRa. It was at Playa Del Rey California Dockweiler State Beach just at the end of LAX in the late seventies where I got my first taste of flying like a bird for about twenty feet. Just a few flights there then to Simi Valley and a three hundred hill. A few weekends there then to Crestline and a three thousand foot mountain launch. We didn't have the nice cable tow they do these days but you're doing right, keep going you'll be stepping off that mountain before you know it, NanoRa.
