Detecting in the footprints of nighthawkers | Ancient finds

This detecting session was probably the most frustrating one for sometime, the weather was brilliant, land availability really tight as everything is now being sown and then finding out the dreaded nighthawkers had hit the land the night before, however we did uncover some really interesting finds as you will see.
Detector used- MINELAB EQUINOX 900.

Sorry to hear about your trouble with nighthawkers. I thought I had nighthawkers on my main permission only to find out that someone else had permission to be there had left open holes all over the place! I did inform the landowner so he knew it wasn't me. Sooo lazy and uncalled for.

Grrrrr night hawkers. You should set up some trail cameras. Some nice bits there though mate. That leather working tool.......that could easily have been discarded by inexperienced detectorists

Hey bud,, I had the same on one of my permissions,,, pain in the arse,,,,, but I installed motion cameras in a few trees, pretty cheap tbh,,, worth it Rich Metal detecting Wiltshire 👍
