Great interview guys. I’m a Michigan wrestler myself, one of the fondest memories I have is attending a Metcalf camp. Changed my life. Thank you for this fellas. Side note, idk if anyone else experienced this, but the audio needs to be addressed. Oscillating from quiet whisper to all out peaking when the volume of the interview isn’t changing all that much made this difficult to understand. Just bringing it to your attention. Other than that, great job fellas

So many good Brent memories. All the Fargo titles. High school, x-mas tourney with Schlatter, then a few months later in the high school national finals. Dapper Dan match with Matt Dragon. Watching him snatch Buba Jenkins soul. Watching him tech Caldwell in the all stars. Watching him crush Lance Palmers dreams. Watching Brent winning the hardest, deeps NCAA bracket in the history of the NCAA’s. Still can't stand Dresser for not letting Brent transfer out of V-tech, with Borschel, and Slaton. Brent forgave him obviously but I never will. I will despise him even after I’m dead. Thank you Brent for everything you gave the sport and continue to give the sport of wrestling. Hopefully we will see you back in Black and Gold someday.

Brent’s passion, charisma, honesty, humility and ability to multi task! Those special traits came from Two of the most dynamic people, which happen to be his parents!

I was fortunate enough to see Brent wrestle Dustin Slater in the finals of the MIT high school tournament. It was one of the most intense matches I have ever watched.
