  • I'm.a teacher and I'm very proud of the fact that I have given love and caring to the children who passed through my hands ....animals have better and greater souls than most humans and they give love ...we have a lot to learn ❤❤❤❤ I really admire you and what you say ...bravo ❤️

Collette,. I’m in the U.S., 73 years old, have my moral compass, beliefs, principles, opinions, and am very much in the minority with my views, where I live. I won’t be changing them, and I do “vote” with my wallet, support business owners with similar views, refuse to purchase from those who do not. I will continue to live my beliefs.

Colette, the only thing wrong with your rant is there's an ocean between us! I keep coming here largely for your Irish woman's wisdom. There are lots of "pretty restore a cottage" channels online, but only one Colette. Agree absolutely about animals, the soul of nature, and about wars. Thank you!

Dear Colette, I've been watching your videos for years and you and your property have been very inspirational. As one who lives in the USA, I'm very unhappy with the state of things here...very concerned about what will happen. Even though I have decided on ethical ways to live and purchase, I fear that my small choices just won't make a difference in the craziness around me. I am attempting to find and maintain a place of peace, but feel like a minnow in a pool of sharks.

Collette I agree 💯 I woke up March 2020 Fast forward 2024 fully awake

I agree with your rant, Colette. I would just add that when you said, "vote with your pocketbook", people should do that with cash. Credit and debit cards are very convenient, but there is a price to be paid for convenience. The powers-that-be want us to give up cash because they can save money with less customer service, they can track what we buy, where we buy and where we travel. That is something I find rather alarming. I also find that spending cash makes you re-think your purchase because handing over that money hurts much more than tapping a card on a machine. Also, I think a lot of young people would benefit from going back to using cash as it would strengthen their basic math skills. Take care and thank you for saying out loud what many of us are thinking.
  • I’m so tired of all the sycophantic content from YouTubers. Where have all the real people gone??? Thanks Colette for being real. I spent an hour in the garden yesterday, before work, watering and weeding. Enjoying the peace and the birds. Had to come in at 8.30 and found myself feeling really annoyed by clocks and calendars. Nature has no such thing… it ebbs and flows, seasons influenced by the sun and moon. Yet here we are made to live defined by time. And now the clock has further influence in the name of a platform tiktok… where ticking time is of the essence, when getting content out. It’s dumbing us all down. Concentration spans are shot. Thank heavens for nature…. and books.

Do more of these. I live on my homestead in Colorado and made the decision to drop out of this lunacy as much as possible. I live in a sea of red hats and just can’t deal with the stupidity. Their moral compass is beyond anything I ever thought I’d encounter in my lifetime.
  • I stuck to my principles throughout the nonsense and never took you-know-what. They tried to shame us, silence us, threatened us with camps and even starvation. Many of my friends lost their jobs. Thank you for speaking on this. It lifted my spirits. PS love your cottage and you.

Thank you Colette, as the majority is still asleep , it's also true that a lot of people are waking up. We need all the rants in the world to wake up the rest though. I have listened to each one of your carefully formulated words, for obvious reasons, but you couldn't be clearer . Thank you for your message
  • Peace and Blessings to you Colette, and Patsy too, and all who visit Bealtaine cottage!🏡🌻🐕

I'm in my mid 70's and although I was adopted and my parents were short in funds they were rich in kindness. In those days a hug was a rarity and as my parents were the same age as the other children's grandparents rather Victorian; but the values they taught me have served me well through all life's vicissitudes. What I always remember was what my dad said to me when once again I came back from Sunday school with the little envelope for the missionaries. His philosophy was that if everyone just did their best to be kind to those who touched their lives the world would be a better place. I think the Worlds gone to hell in a handcart and I'm not sure where its going to next but I am so grateful for having been a child of the fifties and sixties and that I can escape the madness down on my allotment and out in the country on my walks. Rant on Colette
  • "This is my rant, this is my kitchen...". I'm listening, Collette. 🙏🌏🌱💫💝
  • @artistikitty
You have MY support and respect for this “rant”! Refreshing to hear the TRUTH being spoken. 💥 People need to pull their heads out of their “arses” 🙈🙉🙊 and wake the hell up. TY❣️❣️❣️
  • @GenevieveEKelly
I’m overwhelmed by the world anymore, Colette. Runaway inflation and politicians who have completely sold us out. I’ve never been mainstream. I’ve no use for it. You are so right, “killing people is wrong.” I adore the oasis you have created. All the best to you and Patsy. ❤
  • I hear you fine. Loud and clear on all levels! The world about us have no moral compass they are led by the nose in fear and dread. Bright Blessings sister
  • @thehowells228
………Not a rant Collette….. sheer sense….. thank you…. Sending blessings to both you and Patsy 🙏
  • @nice2nettles
Oh, I loved this one! I wasn't entirely sure where you stood on the 'thing that happened a couple of years ago' (unless I've missed a previous video on the subject, I haven't watched them all). Back in those days (2021 especially) all day, everyday, I had running through my head 'what the hell is going on? What's wrong with everyone?', but I was scared to say it out loud and just kept my head down about my own decision to say no to it all. One of the best pieces of advice I've ever been given came from a wise woman at that time - step into your sovereignty. I have now, those days of trying to avoid confrontation by meekly pretending to comply are over. I've stepped into my sovereignty. Blessings to you Colette x

Patsy sat up & looked straight at you when you said the teachers words that “animals don’t have a soul “ .. she was so obviously in disagreement with the teacher 🥰 I felt as if I was sat in the kitchen with you today .. it was good to chat 🙏🏼❤️ xx
