    This is why the strap type tools are so good. They're like stlsons and grab on tighter the the more force you give it and basically any oil filter.

    I've gotten so cross with myself in the past spannering and doing stuff wrong... most notabel was very costly and delayed getting my bike running around 2 months as I broke the fuel pump which cost £500 and had to be sourced from Italy in their summer, where they basically don't work LOL, fun and games 😀

    BEst oil filter tool I've ever used was one my dad has had for ~40 years, it looks like a 1/2" socket adapter with a webbing strap looped through it - works on the same tightening principle as a ratchet strap does so you just wind it round on itself to take up the slack then grunt at it with a breaker bar.

    I really felt for you when i watched you put the oil in first time 😢, great show of perseverance buddy. Sorry but had to laugh at the "dipstick" incident 😂, whoever named it dipstick just knew didnt they...😅

    I didn’t think the 3D printed tool would do the job of undoing the oil filter. Definitely torquing it on. Will you at the same time check the spark plugs Spicy? Are you game? Great job. People laugh at me reading workshop manuals in the toilet😎

    Just whack a long screwdriver through the filter to rotate it crack the seal. I heard that the friction material is actually cork!

    I cannot see why you must drain the oil when working on the clutch. The oil level is way below the lowest part of the clutch cover. You can easily verify this with the dipstick or the oil level check window.

    On my gsxs750 literally no fuss and plates just went in with no issues no needing to see if any were different
