I love that the Lackadaisy theme quietly starts to play when Mitzi appears. It's like you can feel that she is Rocky's gateway to a whole new world of chaos...

Seeing how most people can barely tolerate Rocky for more than a few seconds, is easy to see why he's so loyal to Ms. May, she's probably one of the very few people who actually gave him a chance and a place.

I love how everything in this short is in muted, solemn colors except Mitzi, who is vibrant and warm, especially compared to a very greyscale-like Atlas. It really helps emphasize how Mitzi is a ray of sunshine in Rocky's rough life. Little touches like this just prove how talented these animators and directors are.

Love how they're keeping the characters' skeleton sketches. It emphasizes how this setting is a lot more "scraping by" and how not every character is able to pay the bills.

I feel so terrible for Rocky, seeing so many people toss him out and treat Rocky like trash. Mrs. Mitzy has a good heart and is such a nice kitty.

I love the small detail possibly hinting at Mitzi’s husband being dead at 2:12 the fact that he’s completely grey while she’s full of a bunch of color

STOP ROCKY'S EYES ARE SO CUTE. His smile is so adorable you almost forget that look of insanity in the Pilot when he was throwing dynamite from heaven reciting maniacal poetry <3 also this is AWESOME YOU GO GUYS. Good luck to you and I can see this really going places, and I wanna see this grow so bad.

2:09 I love that from the moment she comes into his view there are warmer colors. It reminds me how Mordecai saw Atlas for the first time in the webcomic.

You can tell Rocky is younger, his eyes are so wide and full of life instead of insanity. I'm super excited for this! I love this show, just from the pilot it's instantly one of my favorite animated projects ever.
