The title is misleading. It is really about China's nuclear development.
  • So... China didn't nuke their own people. They just conducted tests in a remote area of desert. So how is that different enough from the US conducting tests in Nevada and New Mexico, or the British conducting tests in Australia to warrant saying they nuked their own people? In fact, Lop Nur is 400km away from the nearest town. yet the Nevada test site was only 65km away.

This video was clickbait. Didn’t even discuss any instances where they nuked their own.
  • Wow.. clickbait titles lose audience respect if they don’t make any sense lol

China was not Communist in 1945, the Communist fought with the Nationalist forces and didn't liberate China alone. The Communists did not have full control until after 1949.

1:55 "From early 1994, the States were flying war materials into China via India, as well as providing training to the country's pilots and mechanics. American and Chinese planes attacked Japanese strongholds within China, while the American war effort elsewhere forced many Japanese troops to withdraw so they could fight the allies in the Pacific Islands." WTF is this?

Wow You guys really dropped the ball with this video..

The historical accuracy of the video is not complete without mentioning aerospace scientist Qian Xuesen. The U.S. is very much responsible for China's nuclear program and badly shot itself in the foot like we have done many times within our history as a nation. Qian originally was a top U.S. scientist for the Department of Defense, but was wrongly persecuted and detained during the Red Scare. The US shipped him back to China where he became the father of their rocketry program that developed the Dongfeng missiles and other missiles in their arsenal.

20 knot speed for a missile? Hmmm 🤔
  • @chronus4421
Anyone else notice that @10:08 they say a MRBM travels at 20 knots? I think they read it has a 20 kiloton yield (20kts) and got it messed up, maybe the AI did it wrong. Either way its funny.
  • @Screwball70
Britain just faked having a thermonuclear device until it could actually get enough material to actually build one lol.

1:11 ~ The flag of China in 1945 would have been 🇹🇼. Not until 1949 would the use of the Communist flag 🇨🇳 to represent China be accur

Does the voice sound like AI now? Or is it just me? 🤔

1:22 "Japan's Imperial Army represented as much of a threat to China as it did the United States" I distinctly don't remember the JPI pillaging the American countryside so I'm gonna have to disagree with you there
  • @poopie1054
The used to represent china during the WW2 part should have been the ROC flag (blue and redl/taiwan) and not the PRC (red with stars). Kuomintang was the official government of china during WW2. Kuomintang was the one that is a membe of allies fighting against axis power and not the CCP.
