youre the first person in the many videos ive seen that actually explains a bit of Lovecraftian lore instead of just refencing it.great vid! I wish there were more characters like Micolash in the game that had story exposition dumps.its one of my favorite games ever and half the fun was learning everything about it through other means than just playing the game.

\^^/ this is awesome! I'm very excited that you'll be talking about the lore from what you know of Lovecraftian literature. Your analysis of Bloodborne always reveals interesting character traits, themes, and arcs that I haven't heard covered else where (and to which I am usually terribly tone deaf to and haven't picked up myself). Can't wait for you to cover my fave gal :3

I've actually never seen anyone speak for almost 40 minutes about a character that gets so much hate, pure hate and disdain lol It's possible that Rom ascended when she was a child, this would reconnect to how one of the main themes of the game is pregnancy. I mean, it all revolves around babies crying and people contacting the great ones through children or some related shit :/ I definitely have not enough knowledge to argue with your thoughts on the matter, also because I find them pretty correct, reliable. I remember reading somewhere that the orphanage of the choir served as a guinea pig-provider for the choir's experiments, and it would make sense if you take in account the AayyyyLmaoAlienThings in the garden nearby. I also remember that the school of Mensis was originally a part of the church and they worked together, and they as well experimented on children. At a certain point though they must have gradually split and that explains the presence of Edgar within the Nightmare, so close to Micolash. But one thing I got kinda mad about was that I couldn't speak to him? Like are you kidding me? That guy's the only one here who would be willing to chat of existence and shit PLEASE LET ME TALK TO HIM but nah i had to whip him to death. Great. Thank you, Bloodborne. Anyway. I think I'd like to read some Lovecraft. As always, there's two problems: the first is gathering information and the second and most important is knowing where to start. So, do you have any suggestions? If you still read/reply to comments, obviously. Thank you for the video and... uh. May the good blood guide... your way? Yeah, well. ✨
