  • So refreshing for a Filipino celebrity not being asked about her love life and talk more about important topics like her journey in hollywood, movie, family and mental health. Even so Rachel mentioned they checked Liza's profile and all, for sure they saw Enrique Gil somewhere but never asked about it. More interviews like this. I am now a Liza Soberano fan.

It’s refreshing to see a Filipino celebrity with so much substance and vulnerability.
  • Mental health is not talked about much in the Philippines, not just because it's a taboo, but because majority of the population are so busy with surviving. Poverty makes you want to brush off mental health and deal with survival problems first.

This is so gratifying. To see Liza being in an hour long serious interview. Very articulate, honest, transparent.

I became her fan when she went SOLO. I admired her bravery and courage to step out on her comfort zone and discover more. Keep shining Liza. Just be true to yourself always. God Bless u Hopie. 🙏💪🏾

She's on point! Finally! A filipino voice just said the truth about mental health! Filipinos should face the fact that mental struggles should be acknowledged..
  • @rone7559
This is her 1st intelligent interview. Interviewers in the Philippines only ask questions like “who’s your crush right now” or “lights on or lights off?”

Those people who bashed Liza here in the Philippines just don’t understand her, I’m glad she’s in the place where people can be more sympathetic towards her. I hope she gets more acting roles in America.
  • Who else is here because of Liza Soberano?! Thanks for collaborating with her, this is incredible! ❤❤❤

I am a Filipina born and raised in Hawaii. My Filipino friends and I always joke amongst ourselves that there are 3 emotions in our culture. It is "Guilt, guilt and guilt." Not a healthy mindset to be raised in. I am so happy that Liza broke out of that controlled environment and had the courage to choose her authentic path vs. continuing to do what was comfortable. She is mature for her age and evolved as a result of her own self reflection. Good for her.
  • I am so happy that she had a chance to talk about the mental health in the Philippines. Some of us Filipinos do not want to talk we are struggling mentally. I, personally grow up with a family that saying no complains of everything just be grateful everyday that we have roof over our head and foods on the table. Liza is very smart and articulate. Kudos to you Liza for speaking out. Thanks Rachel Bilson and Olivia Allen for having her.😊

In this interview, Liza isn't only a representation of the Philippines, she's also representing mental health awareness status here (and even expose how bad it is). You're so brave to talk about these things.

Filipinos are resilient but more on people pleasers - You nailed it, Liza!
  • It hasn't been an easy journey for Liza, but look at her now. I admire the way she thinks and speaks. You can truly feel her genuineness. Sending prayers for good health and success to Liza and the show. xx

Liza was bashed by Filipinos because of that "utang na loob" issue. I love her mindset. 🥰

  • Liza is a feminine boss lady. Gentle and softspoken but also very brave and honest❤
  • This girl, right here- so deep, substantive, and articulate. She is more than a pretty face. She will go places.
