Any path is the right path. Just pick one.

I think this type of content is so important because many people can resonate with this, including myself. It's funny because I recently decided to go from just writing blogs on WordPress and trying to rank them to now just learning design on Webflow as I realized that I enjoyed web design more. I'm in the middle of migrating my site (which is a pain in the ass for me lol). And you're absolutely right, there is no easy path! I've tried to learn so many different things so this time around I'll just stick with this path. Keep these authentic videos coming!

I am a wedding photographer. It was precisely when I was in the “despair” part of my journey that I started to considered UX as a career. Everything looks so much better when your in the stage of despair. That’s when I started contemplating Avocademy and that was when I stumbled on your channel. I am now beginning to reach the “success” part of my journey. I’m not there yet but I can see it in the horizon. I’m better at my craft, I’m getting more clients and I hope, soon enough I’ll be able to quit my day job. Something that helped me through the despair bit was this quote from Seth Godin “Talent doesn’t matter, there’s no muse or outside force. The only thing that matters is merely doing the work. Without the drama, without the narrative.” Just keep going and do the work.

Thanks for posting this I resonated so much with you. I do quite quickly too especially when I am not making a profit just like others in the same career feed. Also, I have been searching for work as a UX Designer for over a year now and no positive results yet and I am always thinking to myself If I choose the right path. But this time around, I am determined to stay focused in this field and not quit and hopefully see where this career takes me. Also, I am thinking of becoming a freelancer but I don't know where to start. I wish you the best in your journey.

Yes this was much needed to connect with. Especially opening twitter makes me quite anxious about how he made money through bug bounties or some x person made great money through 3d and blender stuff.The best is to stick with what we are doing currently and become the best there itself
