It's Adam Koralik here and today we're doing something special. I had the opportunity to sit down, use, review, and discuss the history of the Nintendo Playstation prototype, AKA the SNES CD.

Thanks for Terry Diebold for making this possible.

Update 1, the prototype has since been sold.
Update 2, Terry has since passed away.

I just realized he passed away this past year, what a bummer. That's amazing that he allowed so many people not only to see it in person but to play it and touch it. RIP

You are so lucky man. You got to hold and experience a piece of history. One of the best channels on youtube

Adam got to caress a unicorn here. Can you imagine that feeling? It's probably like every new console and PC part that you'll ever get combined.

Really cool, Terry seems like such a nice guy and very humble. I am so glad it was found by some so genuine, he deserves every penny he can get from it. He has served the community well touring with it. Great story, all the best! Also thanks Adam again for the great content as always

Easily the single greatest thumbnail for a YouTube video of all time.

Adam, you've gotta put being a Nintendo Playstation security guard on your resume.
  • Watching this in the Fouth Gen Recap playlist. Terry's an absolute legend, R.I.P

man that was a hell of a story! I've been watching this unfold since the first news about that short youtube video that he recorded it's been neat to see!!
  • It's crazy when you think about it, Nintendo never released anything that played off of CDs. That guy on the TV in that Sega CD commercial was right, "there is no Nintendo CD".
  • @madfinntech
He basically found a lottery ticket with the winning numbers.

This console was mythical status for the longest time. It was stuff of legends. Only rumors existed. So to have found the one surviving unit, it’s absolutely incredible. This is the gaming equivalent of finding the Holy Grail. Thank you guys for making this video.

The holy grail of console collecting! The dreams of what could've been!
  • This is so incredibly cool. I never thought I would even see this thing. I thought that every picture was just a mock up. So to see this in a video is beautiful. And in a video from you? Dude... I love it.

Never clicked a video so fast in my life! Great content Adam. One of the most ( If not the most ) historical consoles in gaming.

This thing has also been repaired by Ben Heck several times, no idea why nobody in the video mentioned it.
