Gold, the enduring safe investment and symbol of wealth, comes at a high price. Mined in slave-like conditions, it has been linked to everything from funding civil wars in Africa to causing environmental disasters in Latin America.

This is a hit piece, not a documentary.

Absolutely love it!!! I'll have to be finan-cially stable in every sense before purchasing my first supercar. The best thing to do with your money is to invest rightly because money left saving will end up with no returns

These film makers don’t know the “golden rule”, that is…he who has the gold makes the rules.

“Officially, we are tourists. Don’t tell them you’re a journalist or they’ll break your neck and throw you into a river.” -proceeds to tell the boss of the operation that they’re journalists with a man who expressly told them not to who probably doesn’t want to be found washing up down the river.

The Swiss closed the investigation into Argor 18mths later. No charges, No case to answer.

Instead of fighting the arms sellers, they're fighting the gold producers. Because one is a little less dangerous than the other.

Not to mention the "dirtiest gold" of all: Paper gold. Most of it is actually worthless, as the paper they sell is multiple times the actual physical gold available. The paper silver, too. (I'm looking at you J.P. Morgan, and GoldmanSucks). Also, any Citizen has the right to inspect/verify their country's holdings. Q. When was the last time a petitioner was ALLOWED to inspect Fort Knox Vaults? Uh-huh.... They once showed a doorframe full of gold and claimed it was the doorway to a very large vault that is FULL of the bars they could see, but nobody was allowed to look behind the single-layer façade. Wonder why?

"I want to remain anonymous" Yet they post a video with his Job location a full body scene with a vaguely blurred headshot(45-50 yrs old, thin on top, not to mention the watch), which wouldn't fool a child. I wouldn't be surprised if Theo was his real name. Great job lads!

Its a dam shame that the greediness over this metal is destroying the amazon jungle at a staggering rate.

I don't know when this is filmed, but the gold price is more than double now.

Metalor cares about the environment in Switzerland. Around their facility. Of course, they buy dirty gold. Dont let them fool you.
