"We as a family" is not a valid market value study 😂

David is the best expert. Knowledgeable and humble. Awesome dude.
  • Dude paid 75k for that titanic coin and realized how badly he'd been swindled when the appraisal was 20k. That face he made. Priceless 🤣🤣
  • I always laugh when the customer say ..your loss .....except it's never the loss of the person deciding not to buy it, if they didn't lose any money.🤣🤣

Rick: “And where did you get that price?” 1:05 Coin seller: “I asked my ten year old daughter what she thought it was worth. Then I added two extra zeros at the end.”

I love that on the 1895 proof Morgan that they never really gave the actual reason why it’s worth so much money. I know most of you aren’t avid coin collectors but the 1895 proof Morgan was not a low mintages proof. 880 mintaged on a proof Morgan is about average maybe slightly below average. What makes this coin so valuable is that the Philadelphia mint did not make any regular struck coins in 1895 and the proof example was the only one to come from the Philadelphia mint. This is why it’s so valuable. I have a 1901 proof Morgan in about the same grade (NGC Proof 64 but with no Cameo) and it is worth probably $4000-$5000 retail. The mintage on my coin is 813 which is even less than the 1895 for reference.
