If you hate your job, just start preaching the Gospel. You'll either get fired, or your coworkers will get saved and love Jesus. Win win.
  • For anyone who is struggling with a job situation, persevere and keep asking the Lord for strength! The Lord is able to use our work to make us better and teach us! When then the time is right for you to move on the door will open, but persevere and let the LORD use it to refine you! GOD BLESS

My job is physically, mentally, emotionally exhausting. I had to go to the bathroom and just cry to God! I feel broken everyday when I walk through the door. It's like my whole mood shifts immediately. I try to walk in with a positive attitude and suddenly you're being bombarded with negativity. I just want to give up and walk out but I cant. 1 I need the money and 2 I just can't walk out. I've been a CNA for almost 10 years and It's hard to see myself doing something else. My down fall is over working myself also.
  • Im thankful to have a job and income to pay my bills but I hate my job and I pray everyday for my coworkers and the situation to get better because it's too stressful with management who don't know what they're doing and cause people to quit constantly . I pray for my dream career , because it's too stressful and I have sinful thoughts against them . Pray for me .
  • This is a big struggle. Many employers do not want people to have good boundaries. I found this out as a caregiver. I couldn't switch it off, and when I started to make boundaries, like not being called in my days off, my last employer had me resign papers that stated I would be willing to work whenever asked. That is crazy. When your employer will not respect your limitations and boundaries, then it's time to consider leaving.

This was very helpful! I’m I’m in a job that I don’t enjoy at all so I’m going to try some of these. Even though I am in an answered prayer I don’t fully understand why I’m in my current role because overall I am so unhappy. I’ve been praying for a renewed mind and a more grateful perspective because I know God has me here for a reason. If anyone sees this and could pray for me I would appreciate it and would love to pray for you too ❤️

I am fortunate to be blessed by God in having my career be my calling as well. It's unfortunate there are many people out there who are not happy with what they do, and that makes it more challenging. Love that coffee comment.
  • Being in education, I definitely do not do what I do for money. But with everything that we are dealing with burnout is happening quickly!!
  • I'm glad he said sometimes quitting is the best answer cus all I'm seeing are articles where written for believers to hold onto faith in the midst of working in a toxic workplace environment.

Man, I’ve been feeling guilty because I don’t like my job. I just moved to a new city and this job gave me the opportunity to get here. I knew when I moved here I would keep applying for jobs as I knew I didn’t even want to be in this current role for even a month. Well 5mo later I’m still here...interview after interview and nothing has changed yet. I feel bad sometimes because I do have a job and that’s more than most. I feel bad sometimes like I’m ungrateful to the Lord. I’m really working to shift my perspective this is just a job...and that’s it. Maybe I don’t have to love it. But I definitely need to change my perspective because I’m still here.

I use to work 6 days a week and then switched around my job description and really started putting priorities in order I now work 3 times per week and make the same amount of cash per month that I use to kill myself over I prayed and God provided. These are all great tips.
  • This popped-up on my feed in Feb 2022 & is very timely. I am very grateful for the jobs I've had, my career as a Physics/Engineer Geek, and callings in various volunteer activities. However, my girlfriend, KLH, is a very experienced, dedicated Kindergarten Teacher who is having a rough time due to a change in management of the school, in particular. She has stood by me through rough times, and I ask that you lift up "Miss Kerry" in prayer that the Holy Spirit protects and encourages her.
  • i like my job but i just don't like some people that works there. i feel they hate me and gossip about me
  • @kylesalmon31
You hit the nail on the head about it being ok to work for the money, not that it has to have some sort of important meaning to it. I’ve been struggling with this myself, thinking that my job doesn’t feel real valuable,it’s been getting me down a bit.
  • @Mark-ro3gx
Love my job, but I hate my negative, gossiping, jealous, lying and lazy coworkers
  • @msjreneful
Love your points and while I agree that it’s ok to simply work a job to earn money, many companies take issue with an employee who simply works as a mean to make a paycheck. A lot of companies want you to be committed to the mission of the company which also includes working more than 40 hours and not having a work life balance. Especially as you climb the corporate ladder.
  • Best video ever. Exactly what I needed sincerely wish I had this year's ago...a definite share

I wish my work would just stay at work. I work in the casino as a dealer seeing people loosing money all the time made me feel so sad and depressed. After work I have to deal with my husband’s gambling problems. I feel like I never left my workplace. Everyday I become more and more miserable. Seeing all this sad people losing their paychecks and house due to gambling. And seeing my own family falling apart due to gambling is very depressing. The pay is good but not worth my health. I want to work somewhere that I can make a difference and feel proud everyday. I’m still looking for that jobs, hopefully soon I will fine it!!☺️

Your wisdom and understanding and knowledge is invaluable to me! God led me to this video today because I’m ready to walk out of my “job”.. almost every point you brought up applied to me today. thank you thank you thank you. This is definitely your “calling”
  • Thank you so much! This video came up at a great time. Lately I’ve been feeling exasperated at work. Usually work is the most enjoyable out of the things in my life aside From God and family. I’ve been weighing the costs and benefits since other employers have expressed interest in me. However, I love the flexibility of my job I love how I can help others and it also gives me opportunities to focus on other areas and projects in my life and it’s flexible enough where I can hopefully go back to school. So these tips can be very helpful
