My job makes me wonder why I was even born? The anxiety it gives me crushes me.

Man I feel the pain in her voice. I have to give myself a pep talk every single day to get out of bed for work.

I think many people get emotional about bad work situations because they want out so badly, but their finances make them feel as if they're stuck there.

I used to have a call center job that gave me major anxiety and depression because I hated it so much. I would cry on my way to work and on my lunch breaks. It’s crazy because I actually was pretty good at it but it drained my soul. I then abandoned that job and decided to go back to school and I’m about to graduate with my bachelors degree in December. I’m so happy now!

I used to have suicidal thoughts every single morning going to work, crying so often, living from Friday to Friday so I can stay at home in bed on the weekends - and this was my dream job! Why it was hell? The people. The bullying. The constant jabs at my already self confidence. Gaslighting. Drama, constant attention seeking drama. I ended up disabled & unable to work after 4 years of this nightmare so if you find yourself in a similar place, please please please get out! Please save your soul.

I feel this lady’s pain. The same situation I’m in. I am resigning tomorrow, and I feel so much happier. I feel like a weight off my chest.

i remember hating my job too, literally crying in the bathroom because i hated it so much but couldn't quit because im a single parent with two kids, pay was good but I was miserable, only motivation i had were my kids, then i found another job I loved but pay is low. i quit my good paying job and stayed with the one i loved, i just have to be on a stricter budget..... but completely worth it because im happy(however is not my dream job) but i still love it!

What amazes me now is that the entire world - everyone in some corporate job anywhere - japan, USA, china, Italy - all feel the same way about job. What have we gotten ourselves into?
  • I have a new job every 6-9 months. Thought that was a bad thing, but you don’t owe a job anything. Even if the next job pays less, it’s worth it. Don’t get huge car/mortgage loans. Stack, save, move on. Levels.

It’s easy to say “ you don’t like your job, find another one”. That’s what the hell Ive been trying to do but can’t find anything else!
  • God sent this to me today. Money is nothing if your not happy. I left a job i really loved to go make 4 $ more at a job that isn't necessarily bad but the work environment is so toxic. I cry everyday on the way to work in the bathroom, on the way to and from work. Corporate bullies , not uplifting , managers say they are supportive structured and kind just to fill the position then act another and step on your back. I learned that recently. Money doesn't matter if your not happy.

I literally searched I hate my job and this video came up. I have been at my call center job for 8 months with no raise and I hate it. I'm actually good at it but I cry on the job and work half days and literally pull the plug on the computer. COVID+This Job has doubled my depression.

I was in this lady’s place a few months ago. The job was literally killing me. I would wake up crying because I hated my employer, I would have back to back anxiety attacks, and my depression was at its worse. I felt so stuck because I was conditioned to think that I have to be miserable at this job to pay for things to survive. I quit and it was a great feeling.

I totally feel her. I get emotional every time I start to talk about my job. And my parents find it difficult to understand why the burnout and why it's so hard to move past that.
  • @sabrinay9430
Anyone who ever worked in a call center knows how this lady feels. I barely lasted a year at my last job. I had to give myself a pep talk everyday to keep from quitting. It was sheer will to keep going to work until I just couldn't take it anymore.

I had to cancel my vacation because there was no point, I did not feel relaxed and kept constantly crying.
