Love the vid showing you at the controls too. Sounds odd, but I keep "delaying" playing my DCS properly, despite owning several modules, cos I keep having it in my head that I should wait until I have a full simpit built.......makes no sense other than "for realism" - but just enforces that it can be just as good fun with the standard tabletop hotas plus keyboard on the go (now if only I can sort out these bloomin Delanclip settings so I'm not looking all over the shop when try to do anything)

In HSI page change your POS/AINS to GPS, also whenever you need to drop CCIP ordenance hit castle switch up to go into AGR radar mode, it will assist the CCIP measurement

I’d like to comment of your sponsorship ad in the beginning. The T-Flight hotas one served me well in war thunder and to my surprise it held its own when I went over to DCS. To this day it’s still one of the smoothest throttles I’ve used. If your new or thinking about getting into DCS but think you need some over the top setup like a winwing Orion or Warthog, you don’t. The hotas one will work.

If you are on the Through The Inferno servers, I think the blue smoke is a downed pilot that you can pick up in a helicopter? Or friendly infantry troops that were deployed? I'm pretty sure it's some ground mission thing for the helicopters.
