The music choice, the atmosphere, the colour grading, and his voice?! Damn it's so pretty. By the way, if anyone wanna go to Vietnam, keep this in mind: there are only 2 seasons: hot and hotter. From a local 💖 PS: Thanks for the replies for reminding me: Not all places are hot all year round. Some Northern and mountainous areas are also very cold at times of year, so just make sure you pack seasonally. If anyone are saying anything about this, I'm sorry for not clarifying first time 🙇🙇

I'm envious of your relationship with your dad... feel like I have a lot of making up to do to my own dad.

As someone who hasn’t travelled, your vlogs of your journeys fascinate me. You so beautifully capture all the environments you’re in. Always look forward to your next video. Your trip to Vietnam looks simply awesome.

I have stopped watching vlogs whatsoever because they always felt fake or super repetitive... this one was so sweet, and authentic and nice! thank you for sharing this with us 🥺

Side note/observation—when you guys first arrived, at 3 AM, to your grandparents' house, I just have to say that the sparkle on those floors is impeccable. 💖 Sooo shiny, polished & clean. Makes me want to go clean my room asap. Lol.

this has me crying in the school library bc of how beautifully it captures the atmosphere and feelings of being in the countryside in Vietnam TOT thank you for the video!!

I’ve seen lots of videos of people of Vietnamese origin visiting Vietnam, and this one is just unmatched! Even born and raised in Vietnam, but I barely find peace around the corner like how it’s portrayed in this video. You indeed gave me a second chance to embrace and love my surroundings

Watching this makes me miss my dad. I lost him in a motorcycle accident in 2007. Your dad is so sweet and being able to travel with him is such a gift for you. ❤❤❤
  • This makes me so homesick, I grew up in Saigon and those pink fruits were in our backward (I loved eating them with salt!) Also the boats are so nostalgic to me I lived near a river bed and used to think the boats with the eyes painted on the front were scary haha 😅 how I miss the motherland 💖💖💖💖

I'm Viet, and grew up in Canada, I was always self-conscious about showing the culture in the homeland. It was great that you were not afraid to show this side of yourself and where you came from. Respect.

Benji, you must have been in heaven with all of the local plants. Beautiful trip. I went to the floating market in Bangkok in 1972. Very similar but a much narrower waterway. Thanks for sharing your adventure.

Hello Benji, I watch your videos but have never commented. I love your Vietnam vlogs so much. My husband and I got to go to Vietnam several years ago and it's our most favourite place ever. I love the people and of course Vietnam. Thank you for sharing Vietnam with us again. I love the relationship you have with your dad, it's so lovely. Take care Benji

This video is actually the cutest thing I've watch today. As a Vietnamese it's good to see Viet Nam through another lens and after watching it, I miss my family so much now, it feels like I'm back to my hometown again
