It made me emotional to see how plants are such a big part of your family’s lives too. You’re so connected to your family and ancestry in a special way 🥹
  • @tucheetta6330
seeing the ending of this video made me really emotional. there is something so sacred about the country your family comes from, esp. as a first generation in the states.
  • @ChauLeChau
Your grandmother is so sweet telling you to pick the berries and giving you a handful hehe
  • @NannettCepero
Your grandparents have a beautiful home and garden! The amount of food they produce for themselves is impressive! The Desert Rose is called Adenium Obesum in botanical lingo. I love the peacefulness of your videos; very relaxing! Thank you!
  • You captured family life in Asia so well, made me so nostalgic. Like your dad I’m a first generation immigrant and went through the emotions of leaving your family. You are so talented, thank you for sharing your videos with us. ❤

This video made me miss Vietnam while I am living in Vietnam though. And I literally cried in those last moments. A pity you cannot speak Vietnamese, but somehow you understand what Vietnamese people say to you. Your mom and dad, and your Vietnamese family are so cute.

It’s quite beautiful to see how your family traditions and livelihood translate into your life and interests in the western world. Thank you for sharing that part of yourself with the rest of us.

What a beautiful video! Made me tear up at the end, seeing your dad hugging his mom takes me back to saying goodbye to my gradma at the airport. It's very difficult to have family in different places of the world but it also makes us appreciate each other more. You dad also reminds me of my dad, he's very sweet. Im so glad for you that you got to take that trip together with your dad and thank you for sharing it with us!

I loved your video. As a younger person, stick close to your family & you'll do well in life; you are blessed with abundance & love.

When I saw the clothes rack rolled out, I remembered how dryers are such a western / American thing and that in most Asian countries they hang clothes to dry.
  • The relationship you have with your dad seems magical. Father and son but friends too. Thanks for letting us tag along.

I had no idea Vietnamese families just added on to their property as the family grows! That’s so cool!
