One of the most stable drones on the market. I love the one I use!
  • I bought DJI Phantom 4 pro+ V2.0 in 2018 when it was released and I have been used it since then. I just love it. Yeah it's big but weight comes handy when weather is windy. It's allways worked fine and not single part has ever broke down. Just few weeks ago I change original propellers to new ones. So yeah it's very tough machine.
  • it is the best drone that the company produced! the only problem is the sensitivity of the gimbal (it vibrates after 1 year of flight) and the cracks in the shell every year. the company should also produce batteries with a longer duration of at least 40 minutes. the quality of video touches perfection. I believe that the support of the service will stop very soon.....I don't know if it's worth selling it to buy an air 3?
  • The Phantom 4 Pro is still my main aircraft for work. It's a solid machine.

I have this P4Pro + AND still have my P3Pro, but the P3Pro has stopped communicating with the camera.. so, it's a brick. BUT, the P4Pro is still my go-to drone. I have so many hours on it and will use it until it's no longer usable. As they get to the end of their life, I take more risks with them and get some great sequences. Fly it in storms, winter snow, and take risks that I would not do with a new drone. The batteries are still strong, though the remote battery is no longer fully charging. I agree with all the points you've made, great video! Thanks!
  • I agree. Its still a great drone. One of my favorites. Would love to have a Phantom 5

As somebody who has numerous drones and have been in the hobby a few years I find myself flying the drones that take the least amount of time to get in the air the most. I bought an RC pro controller just so I didn’t have to connect my phone to the controller! If I had more drone work, I would definitely look into getting a phantom because, as you said, perception is everything!!

I had mine for 7 years and i just started flying it again, I still enjoy flying it

Thank you for the review Eddie, it’s definitely one of the better ones that I’ve seen. Just getting into flying recently and like to start learning mapping after getting comfortable with my Mini2. I think the Phantom4v2 is the way to go. One question I had regarding the phantom is software and repair supports going forward. If I buy a used phantom in 2023, will DJI support continue for at least 2-3 yrs?

Great review. There is a lot that one can take away from this video. While not for me, a lot of people can find some great use of the Phantom.
  • @Colquhoun7
Yeah you confirmed my thoughts. Mini 3 pro for close non windy work. Phantom 4 pro v2 for coastal / windy work. Great vid!
  • @bullryda5953
Would love to have one. They would be AWSOME for high winds and capturing fast water sports. Thanks for the throw back. Lol.
  • Dji phantom 4 pro is a work horse, I still using mine v2 without a single issue.
  • @bobfiore8
Still one of the best drones out there. Great info Eddie!!

My father is still having fun with his Phantom 3. When I tell him to get rid of that old bucket, he always says I don't need more.
  • @LovesM855A1
I have to agree, its not a fold up like my mini 4 in the pocket but you can do so much more with it and bigger lenses etc get great video/pics….. Im looking for one now.
