It seems like we’ve been waiting forever to be able to go from freeway to the skies in a flying car. Slovakian company Klein Vision has been working on their AirCar to fulfill that desire. The company says the AirCar has completed over 520 takeoffs and logged more than 130 flight hours. That track record made the company feel confident enough to bring up a passenger. The AirCar flies at speeds of up to 120 miles per hour, and can soar to altitudes up to 8,000-feet high.

Flying cars aren't new, they're just not practical.
  • @YY-nezy
Having car accidents in the air is crazy💀
  • so dangerous. People can’t even drive right in the ground so what’s gonna happen when there’s wrecks up in the air that’s gonna fall down to the ground that makes no sense

It is not really a "flying car" if it can't drive down the street with large wings hanging from its side. This is just a small airplane.
  • @Supasmartguy
Looks a lot different than the one from The Jetsons.
  • What’s a bit of a mystery here is that a helicopter does just the same job and, moreover, a helicopter doesn’t need a landing strip to take off and land. This could just be a case of just because you can do something doesn’t necessarily mean you should.

Cost gonna be out of this world😭
  • Imagine dying from air collision and falling 💀 Also, this is giving me ocean gate flashbacks
  • Honestly air traffic controllers already have enough problems to deal with logistics wise to now be worried with ppl having flying cars going to be a nightmare

why iam I seeing ads for ''the first flying car'' The Curtiss Autoplane, invented by Glenn Curtiss in 1917, is widely considered the first attempt to build a roadable aircraftCar ,The flight of the Arrowbile on February 21, 1937, and found the aircraft easy to fly and virtually spin and stall proof. The Aerocar, designed and built by Molt Taylor, made a successful flight in December 1949 remember the tv show Love That Bob? guess not even Honda had one.........
  • Interesting, but how hard would the flying/driving test be to pass?
  • @datsapaddlin
It’s time to take Drunk driving to higher limits.
