When someone that young accomplished something that amazing. This announcer had the chance of a lifetime. She seized the day. He blew it.
-
This Announcer really dropped the ball here. A high school freshman defeated college track stars! No mention whatsoever?!
-
In January of 2021, she ran a time that qualifies her for the Olympic trials. This young lady is the real deal.
-
She knew EXACTLY what she was doing! That was planned, calculated, rehearsed and executed to absolute perfection! OUTSTANDING!!!!
-
Tomorrow is near, yet so far away. Choose this day to love unconditionally, and be happy within

That announcer could make the moon landing sound like an everyday event.
-
great job of pacing herself and not getting tied up in the crowd . she finished strong and didn't leave anything in the tank . she ran like a real pro .
-
Zero mention of her being a HS runner. This announcer should be ashamed of himself for missing a golden opportunity. Wow. Congrats to the young lady on an epic race. π
-
Just to relate... HS Freshman is 10 seconds off the World Record Pace. That is impressive.
-
This announcer should never cover anything ever again. Great job to the winner. She blasted those folks.
-
It literally feels like the announcer opens and closes his eyes every 5 seconds. He literally missed almost everything in this race
-
What was really impressive is she probably ran longer than any of them. She started on the outside lane and was on the outside for most of the race. Super impressive.
-
Announcer: βThey are running. Someone is running faster then someone. They might be finished. No, they kept going. They are running. Itβs all girls. They stopped running. It must be over. Somebody won.β
-
really, thats how you announce an indoor 800...worst announcing ever
-
This video gives me confidence I could literally show up at an event like this and make the call with nothing but a roster and 10 mins of prep time
-
Absolutely impressive from dead last steadily continued to accelerate throughout the entire length π
-
The announcement should be centered in the runner who was last at the beginning of the race. How she gradually overtook one runner at a time, and finally came out to be the winner at the end. That is the most exciting part. I have to go back and watch it the second and third times to really appreciate this runner's ability and strategy.

Yeah, the announcer sounded really shocked...
-
Wow! Amazing strategy! And so disappointed in the announcer not recognizing her amazing race! You got girl...a bright future awaits you.....your hard work is paying off...so proud of you! πͺ. π π π― π¨π¦

Heroic run by someone that is a HS Freshman....that is real HEART. What a talent....and even more exciting to see her come from the back of the pack that way.
