WOW.... now THAT was an emotionally unnerving, truly heart-wrenching portrayal.... 😲 Not surprising that the "suggested", equally severe physical abuse of the mother was never "dramatized".🤐 Personally, the baseball bat scene against Scott in bed had MY "trigger finger" Locked And Loaded... 😎 And that scene's beating is what obviously led to Scott's later physical problems that Destroyed his career. I am just 100% SICKENED that the high school baseball coaching staff Did NOT Notify The Police when they obviously SAW Scott's repeated injuries that, in fact, prevented him from playing ball = Time After Time in the regional high school baseball league = Equally SHAMEFUL by that staff. 🧐😨🖕

When you are a person on the outside looking in ,It seems so easy to tell someone to get out of there to take the kids and get out of a sick abusive situation, but when you are the person going through it,nothing seems that easy ,it's the mental abuse along with the physical abuse can't think or see straight sometimes. GREAT MOVIE I would definitely recommend it !!! Thanks again YouTube!!!

I heard my mom saying once before she and my dad met he used to beat women. My mom was my best friend and I grew up thinking if he ever did any harm to her I would've killed him myself with my own hands and the older I get the more I believe he knew that. She was my everything and although he was always the provider, he spent his whole life working to make sure we had all our needs covered, there was always a thin line between him and myself which didn't really exist between him and my kid brother. I loved him dearly and I knew he loved us all but I always kept an eye open in case he tried to do anything to my mom. Thanks God he never did.

You reap what you sow😢😢😢. Every Dog get his day. I faced a true account.. my children were young.. and before they got to their second birthdays I took them away from that abuse... some women tolerate abuse... and it is sad to see that.. me personally I had to fight😮

wow i felt so sorry for the mother and her 2 sons.i just don't understand why the mother would of not kicked that rotten man out of her house,after seeing the abuse he did to her sons and feeling the abuse her self. its just so sad😪

A person can say or do things when under the influence & not realize/remember the pain that persons actions left. The person Receiving that pain will never forget . Can Never Forget & forgiveness is none existent. This movie was so full of raw emotions that many can relate to or feel the pain. The cast was excellent in portraying real life, & thank you for all that was behind the scenes. 👵🏻👩🌾❣️

Yeah, and I've got a problem with the cop brother who keeps suggesting abusive dad should be forgiven when cop brother didn't get the beatings, not to mention his intended career taken away on purpose. "oh, I love you son, it was the alcohol"....nah, if you LOVE someone, nothing can induce you into physically beating them, not even fermented liquids.

When my husband passed away ,at very young age 38. I still remain alone with my daughter , never allowed a man in my life, just to protect my daughter. I am glad I did that 🙏♥️
