URUAV URIR01 60W Digital Soldering Iron. Overview/My thinkings....

Published 2020-11-01
Budget brand Uruav have a new(ish) soldering iron out that you might want to consider.

While it's no ts100, if you are on a tight budget or want an iron to take with you to the field, this might be the answer.

Purchase here:

or the cheaper Sequre chisel tip version:
www.banggood.com/SQ-D60-60W-Digital-Soldering-Iron…

Sequre's best iron (and familiar to those who own the ts100):

Happy soldering and take care

You could try using a USB type C charger with PD. With PD it could negotiate 20V and work just fine. Just a suggestion. Mine is on its way so couldn't test this.
  • What USB charger you usei am in the same place I need a solution can u send me a link and can a switch charger work

Thanks for Richard Warwick Great review and soldering testing.
  • Hei. How does it compare to the ts100? I am looking for a soldering iron and was wondering if it's worth to get this or just squeeze the wallet and get the ts100. Thanks!

Do you know something about spare tip ?? where it's possible buy it?
  • Ho usato questo saldatore per qualche giorno poi ha iniziato a sfarfallare e non tenere più la temperatura. Purtroppo bocciato..

Supplying this with power was the deal breaker for me. I don't have a power supply that supports XT60 and I think a lot of people who would potentially buy this iron don't either. People should focus on the project not how to power the soldering iron.
