please give Ari her credits, she had a huge part in the production. šš¼
-
Dare I say it's her most vulnerable and conversational work to this day.
-
Ariana singing "I fall asleep crying/ you turn up the TV/ you don't want to hear me" Every single other reactor: "WTF!!?!?!?" Blake: "The little bit crusher on the bass is really cool!!šš"

I cannot believe youāre saying this album doesnāt have a story. Itās literally a story from start to finish & itās really not that hard to grasp on to it. Itās her most personal body of work yet.
-
51:12 its her nonna her grandmother. so the album starts with a question about if shes in thr right relationship and ends with an answer from her nonna.
-
you not liking wcbf is very surprising to me
-
Saying the album doesnāt have a story bc the production changed is insane (especially for wcbf) š itās her most cohesive storytelling and concept album. Listen to the lyrics then speak on the story please šš
-
we cant be friends is an essential part of the album, it tells the whole story of the album in its music video and its a beautiful songg
-
12:52 im so sorry for your loss. i cant even imagine what ur going through. hope you heal from it
-
The album is very conceptual based on the movie "eternal sunshine of spotless mind" and it relects mostly through lyrics, shes starting with question about how could someone know if they're in a right relationship and up until "eternal sunshine" shes talking about her ex husband, in "supernatural" shes falling in love, she also gave what her fans wanted tho (ex: true story, a leaked song that fans loved a lot and boy is mine, her version another fan fav leaked song) those songs is her playing the part which general public make up in their mind despite of not knowing the complete story, in "yes, and?" shes telling public to stfu lol and in "we cant be friends" (wait for your love ) shes expressing her pain about being misunderstood by public and shes hoping that people would understand her and is waiting for them to liker her again hence both of them are singles, also why both are dance bops lol and in "I wish I hated you" shes talking about hesitation/difficulty of getting over the past and how easy it would be move on if their relationship was worst in all aspects , in "imperfect for you" shes talking about fact that's shes still imperfect with the flaws but she will give love no matter what, at last.. in ordinary things shes talking about how every lil things in relationship matters and ending with nonna's advice about a small gesture that might define if you're in a right relationship or not...This album is her most cohesive album yet...The best album of hers in my opinion

Yessss, I knew it!! Finally somebody that likes āimperfect for youā š that things been on repeat for a week, it just sounds so good in a way I donāt know how to explain but I knew youād know how to explain it š
-

I'm so sorry all of that happened to you, I hope your nephew gets better soon

tbh the change in production for āyes, and?ā feels odd but i think it makes sense once you consider it her ācomebackā single. which is exactly why she chose it (not the label! thereās a video of her with her team where she explains it), she said it āhadā to come first and that she didnāt want a second single bc she wanted the album to be listened to as a whole. āeternal sunshineā is a concept album based on the movie āeternal sunshine of the spotless mindā so a lot of the lyrical content is based on the idea of wanting to remove someone from your life so you can forget the pain you went through. i think it made sense to her as a comeback single even tho the rest of the album is ābetterā, she probably thinks so too but she needed to put out the āyes, and?ā message first.
-
So the feature and the person speaking at the end of āordinary thingsā is Marjorie Grande aka Arianaās Grandmother or āNonnaā. She recorded her on voice memos and that entire message is in response of the question that was asked in first line of the album: āHow can I tell if Iām in the right relationship?ā and Nonna, provided the answer for her. ā¤ļø

Blake, what a great video. It took me 2 listens to get addicted to this album. Iāve since listened about 10 times and I keep noticing more of her musical genius. So sorry to hear youāre going through tough times. I canāt identify with your pain. Better times are on the horizon. Just subscribed š¤
