Winter Ascent of Wright and Algonquin Peak, New Year's Day 2013

Published 2013-01-18
Gregory Kanter and Jonathan Colby, while on a two day Adirondack overnight, attempt Wright Peak on day 1 but are turned back by high winds. On day 2, we make the summit of Algonquin, but can't see much! Along for the hike on the first day were Phil Chambers, a co-worker from EMS and some visiting friends from his native South Carolina.

Awesome video! Nicely filmed. I'm doing Algoinquin in mid-march, I hope it's still as epically winter-like :)

Nice video.  Thanks.  I also hate it when my GoPro batteries go dead!  Good hiking.
