Thank you Magnus for training with us, you were definitely more fit and stronger than many Marines! It was my pleasure to compete and train alongside such an elite athlete like yourself throughout the day! -SSgt Chavez
  • Bruh that guy being Magnus's motivation and instructor during the Shamrock drill is a straight up legend, he could help ya get through anything
  • I really feel like that marine guy could motivate me into doing anything ANYTHING

Magnus in the water grappling just shows how insane some of his physical attributes are, as soon as he grabbed any of the guys they just couldn't get him off of them, insane grip strength

The guy hyping Magnus up throughout the beach circuit is a true homie.

22:44 "I gave you almost everything I had... ...you got me" tells you everything you need to know about how awesome that guy is. a moment we expect him to be embarrassed and to try and save his ego, and instead confirms magnus simply got the better of him. Absolutely incredible to see, especially considering he knows the match is going out to a lot of people. They all seem like such great people

When I saw the grappling was on their knees and mostly upper body, definitely was thinking that was time for Magnus to shine. Great comradery and the instructor in the end didn't show any ego. Challenge coin definitely earned.

Honestly, the best part is the rest of the group encouraging you like kids cheering for their favorite athlete at the Olympics. That kind of support is something we can all learn from.

I love how the marine you ran against was so excited to go against you, not because he wanted to beat you but because he was obviously a big fan of your channel. And also, all those marines shouting and cheering, "Go Magnus, go!", put such a big smile on my face. So beautifully wholesome and awesome to watch the comradery!

Absolute honor for you to come out Magnus! Definitely in better shape then most Marines, and thanks for the work in the water 😅 definitely felt your death grips in my neck the next few days…😂😅

I think many really dont't really get how incredibly fit you need to be a world class climber. It was super impressive to watch yet not surprising to me considering how strong you gotta be to do the kind of stuff Magnus does. I am a pretty good climber and in good shape and he s a superhuman to me
  • @Arthur-ri1ol
the fact that Magnus is even KEEPING UP is a testament to how physically demanding climbing can be! Incredible to watch.

The guy hyping Magnus through the course is an absolute team player. He even asked his teammate if he was ok after winning on the second shallow water grappling. What an awesome guy

I need the Shamrock Drill hype guy to come get me through some sets he was next level

Magnus' strength from climbing helped a LOT when he got both arms around the instructor's head. It must have felt like a vice grip clamping down. All his climbing muscles were used in full effect there, and you could see how the instructor was struggling against those holds. I remember the video with the Norwegian army where Magnus did 60kg+ pullups, which outdid even the super fit Evan. Those were the same muscles in full effect. Without much (if any) martial arts training, that just goes to show how leveraging the right muscles and strengths can overcome training. Well done Magnus, that was super impressive man! Mad respect.
  • I love the instructors who refuse to go easy, and I know they are but when he’s screaming “this is what you asked for” I loved it
  • @KittenIgnition
Everyone should get a hype man like the dude in this video. His energy carried Magnus through the torture course.
  • When he said “I kinda want to do it again but don’t” after the obstacle course is exactly how I thought I’d be feeling after the first run of it…. And basically the don’t quit attitude is key

I am an Australian veteran and miss doing this. I have trained with many American military personnel, they are all amazing people. I am now disabled. Magnus you are a machine. I would love to know if you have trained with any of the Australian military
