  • Today, I learned that Andrew himself pitched this scene and I appreciate him even more for it.
  • The fact that Garfield's Peter executed this perfectly this time makes me believe that he's thought about every single way he could've saved Gwen ever since she died. And he finally got to do it right :')
  • The ptsd on his face was to real. He played that so well this was probably my favorite scene in the movie. It really hit me hard
  • @frankie1312
This scene is so deep. I felt the intimacy between Andrew's Spidey and us the audience. Only us and him knew what saving Zendaya's MJ meant to him. Only we knew what he had been through and how much he remembers that day. And they way he perfectly executes the saving makes us think that he never, not even for a day, stopped thinking about how he could have saved GS. He forgave himself in the exact moment he landed safely.
  • This was the reason why Andrew Garfield came back. To redeem himself.
  • @FullMetalNate
The rush of emotions I felt when watching this was unreal. The excitement of seeing him save her, to seeing the look of pain and sadness on his face made me well up and cry. GOD this movie is so good.
  • He would have thought about every way he could have saved gwen, and I love how this time he doesn't rely on his webs/powers, he grabs her and holds her, and then uses his webs to get them to safety. Webs failed him once, he wasn't going to let it happen again
  • @Demaad
I always thought Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man was very underrated and over hated. Glad he’s getting the love he deserved now from the fandom
  • @jwanie366
I love that Zendaya improvised the “are you ok?” line back to Andrew. This was such a wonderful redemption for him
  • Look closely before she fell. Ned tried saving her too. He was always a good friend to Peter and MJ.
  • @StxlerMC
This scene is so faithful to Andrew Garfield. This shows that he spent so much time thinking "if I did this" and "what if I" that when the time came he knew exactly what to do
  • Garfield saving MJ was absolutely the best scene. The emotion on his face knowing he finally was able to catch the girl, but also knowing he can't get Gwen back...
  • Out of all my theories, Garfield Spider-Man saving MJ was the one I most hoped would happen When it did, I cheered so much 😁
  • wont lie, when i saw this scene, i got filled with emotion and it was hard to hold back tears. tears of joy and also sorrow at the same time. what a scene when Andrew saved her.
  • @AMD64EVER
This scene achieves what almost every movie tries to achieve but fails and that is to provide a meaningful moment that justifies all of the actions that a character has gone through. To see this culmination of events all come together is just amazing. I think this is the best scene in an already amazing movie
  • I’ll always be a tobey fan but I really feel like Andrew deserved this film more than anyone else he always was a good Spider-Man and this film proves it
  • 0:32 Can we apreciate the fact that Ned risked his life trying to save MJ from falling only having a pipeline to grab both of them without hesitate?
  • Andrew Garfield's facial expression from 1:01 to 1:06 pierces my heart! It evokes, from my heart, so much compassion, and sadness for him!
  • @march.7561
Can we all admire the sound editing in this scene? The silence that's broken by Goblin's cackle, segwaying into the chilling ringing. Amazing
  • @Very_Sleepy50
This scene is just beautiful, Andrew’s pride and happiness in saving MJ but also his sadness and guilt over failing Gwen
