I had this HSG test done years ago in San Diego at the military hospital..I wanted to listen to your experience because your right, it isn’t talked about much.. I had the blockage of tissue and it did hurt for a few minutes but then it was over.. I had a successful pregnancy after . I wish you the best 💕
  • I had an HSG done over 40 years ago and it was worse than childbirth! That SOB hurt like hell. I already had horrible period cramps but this was on another level. I had 2 kids with NO pain meds or epidural but that HSG was a nightmare! I can’t believe in all these years they haven’t improved the way the procedure is done. When I saw your previous video about the difficulty you had had and that you were going to have to do it again I was so sorry for you. I’m glad you didn’t faint but for anyone who has never had one she is not being dramatic. It hurts like no other. Happy for you it’s over and you get good news from your doctor 💓
  • I'm so glad you shared your experience. I had an HSG last year. I was fortunate in that I experienced more discomfort than actual pain. But it took me months to get up the nerve to actually go through with the procedure. It's so important to share these experiences because there are so many of us going through these types of challenges -- Thank you! I've recently found your videos and I have learned so much! I'm a first time mom, 22 weeks with my baby girl. All the best to you and your family!

I love how open you are about this all madison, you're such a beautiful strong woman. Thanks for sharing your experience with us im sure this is super helpful to so many people 💕💕💕
  • Oh my gosh, I can’t believe what a crazy experience you had. Props to you for pushing through it and enduring the test a second time. I had an hsg done about two years ago when we were trying to conceive my daughter, and interestingly they gave me a single dose of misoprostol to soften my cervix to help with the catheter. I didn’t realize that everyone didn’t get that! Wishing you luck conceiving after the procedure!! ❤️

You are so good at explaining things! Thank you for sharing and giving such great information! I've been so scared about getting it done. I actually feel a little better now, knowing exactly what to expect. I'm so happy you were able to finally get it done right, and now your tubes are clear. I hope your other appointments go well. ❤😊

Sorry to hear that you’re one experience wasn’t good, I’ve been through so many doctors in my love and I’ve had my fair share of HORRIBLE experiences so I feel for you. Glad the rest of your tests went much better! 💕
  • @ExtraAKAtude
So glad to hear that the HSG test went quick and fairly well. Hang in there girl!
  • @cameron04100
I’m so sorry you had to go through that. I remember the test and it wasn’t the most pleasant experience and it is quick. Wishing you the best going forward!
  • I’m so sorry you are going through this and you had such a bad experience with the HSG the first try. Thank you for being so open about your miscarriage and infertility and the fertility testing process. I went through two miscarriages and then fertility testing in the span of about a year and we are now just over halfway through our pregnancy with our little rainbow baby. Going through the process, I turned to videos to know what to expect. I love that so many influencers are being so open with talking about their experience with miscarriage and infertility. It definitely helps knowing you’re not alone! Best wishes and lots of baby dust to you!
  • I had an HSG this week and I literally was shocked by how much pain I was in! Didn’t even think it was going to be that bad but woooooow!
  • Thank you Madison for all the info. I am going through this for past three years and still hoping for best. Wish you all the best 😊
  • @paolaf3637
Thank you sharing Madison. What a week!!! I’m sending you a lot of love and prayers. ❤️
  • Hello Madison! My heart aches for what you're having to go through right now but just like you said it's going to be all worth it when it's done! Hang in there you've got this and I'm going to put you in my positive thoughts & prayers throughout this! :)

You are very brave! Wishing you and Joel all the best!!! Good luck! Thank you for sharing.

Thank you for your openness. We’ve been trying for about a year now, and I’m thinking of starting the process of exploring potential issues with fertility. So this is very informative on some possibilities to expect. Good luck! 💗

Woah! That's an intense week! Sending all the love and hope your way 💗

Ouch. This test was one of the worst parts of the entire infertility process for me. Super painful, zero insurance coverage, got good results, but the good results also solidified the realization that there was nothing wrong with me.
