3/69 passengers were sent with injuries to Platte Valley Hospital.
The rest of the 66 passengers got a lodge to stay in.
As for the train itself
816 (GE P40DC)(Lead) (Totaled, scrapped after accident)
41 (GE P42DC) (1st and only trail)(survivor)
The superliners (that doesnāt include the baggage car, were taken away by BNSF locomotives after the accident)

One more thing i like to point out That crack on the lead unit is an erie premonition of whats gonna happen to it tomorrow.

Man. Im praying for the hospitalized Engineer. Its just kinda upsetting that the P40s are in their final years of service on amtrak. And then gets destroyed in a similar fashion to what happened in 1999.
