The way Casey talks about David is gross. Completely disconnected from the fact the guy is a total psychopath. David wasn’t the centre of his content, he was puppeteer holding the camera and bag of money in front of his “friends”. Release the documentary Casey!

love casey but pretty weird to hear him say "i had to tell the truth" and talk about journalistic integrity in reference to a documentary that he hasn't put out yet has now clarified he can easily put out on his own youtube channel whenever he wants. if having their words speak for themselves and the truth is so important to be known, just put it out there.

Interesting for him to say he was your friend through the whole incident and you guys were close during your darkest time with your eye yet in the same breath say he still loves David and using verbiage seemingly trying to still protect David…

I hope you’re protecting yourself Jeff, I think he’s good at compartmentalising but there were some peaks of how he feels about everything and I would just stay cautious in this friendship

This definitely makes me look at Casey in a different light. I wouldn’t call a manipulator “brilliant” but that’s just me. Also, the fact that he could put out the doc and hasn’t means he’s protecting David to some extent.

Weird for Casey to gas up David knowing the trauma Jeff has… not a friend

FYI 'Something about Casey implying that the "fun film about his friend David" being "ruined" by the SA allegations and Jeff's accident is really gross. Also Casey saying that he still loves David to Jeff's face is like wtf.' FOR REAL!! To even say it in front of Jef, is messed up b/c First off, Jeff could have died 2ndly, Jeff was pulled into the SA allegation due to David..and was almost accused of getting the alcohol.. It's kinda on the spectrum of Casey having such cognitive dissonance right then and there... Jeff, I don't know how you could sit there with him but kudos for you to bring him on and sit there with him in what he said. Be careful.

FYI 'When I hear people saying “it’s not all men” I think of situations like this. It’s not all men but it’s men like Casey that are complacent in deplorable horrific behavior. It’s men like him that enable and encourage that behavior indirectly by not holding them accountable. He minimizes SO much.'

The way jeff talked about steven toward the end of the podcast was one of the most genuine no bs expressions of friendship one person can pass to another.

Its so cruel to look someone in the face, someone who has invited you onto their podcast, and sing the praises of the person who wronged them as much as David wronged Jeff. Casey needs to take a step back and read the room.
