  • My father stuck with his traditional Chinese diet that he grew up on. He didn’t drink green tea but he drank black tea and coffee daily and lived to age 94 before passing away. My mother (also Chinese) loved the western diet and indulged in it. Pizza, spaghetti, fried chicken, fast food… she loved them all! She passed away at age 60 from complications from type 2 diabetes! I’m learning the lessons from the differences between my two parents and trying to age gracefully and painlessly by eating better and living a healthier lifestyle. I learn a great deal from watching Dr. Li and am grateful he shares his knowledge and wisdom with us!!!🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️

I remember my mother ,bless her heart, she used to make raw cacao chocolate w coconut milk whoa the best taste and warms you up quickly, THATS in Asia it’s a raw cacao it’s like a rock and she mush that rocky cacao. I will never forget it. So far I have never tasted anything as good as that.my mom lived and passed in her 90’s she ate mostly Veges and also meat, chicken wild fish and seafoods. As we had a farm and fresh river that gives is wild fish and seafoods. I missed that home terribly.

I drink a herbal coffee mix every morning that has coffee, cocoa, moringa, soursop and a pinch of either cinnamon, star anise or nutmeg. I end the day with green tea or other garden herbal teas. We grow everything from kitchen herbs to mulberry, olive leaves, orange flowers, dandelions, self heal, clovers etc. We Love our teas!

SPIRITUALITY for a healthy mind, body and soul!!!!

One other thing not mentioned here, always wait until the water the tea is made with is no hotter than 180° as tea in boiling water kills the polyphenols. I'm British born but have lived in the US since age 2 (a military brat). If there are any doubts in my claim, do the research and find out for yourself. I've also read that Green Tea is very good for BPH. Tea must be good for longevity or all the monks in Asia would not be drinking it for generations.

This doctor needs to be cloned and put into every medical school to re-educate doctors with correct information about health. He is brilliant, and a gem of a person to anyone with common sense about how to improve their health in a sustained way. I just love learning from his simple to understand videos ...
