As a Pilot myself, I was in Medelin in '83. But, not speaking Spanish and no airplane, I found it required more guts then available. Man...I would have liked to have met those guys. Just for the adventure.

I'm going to read Roger's book but I wish there was an audiobook version where he's the narrator.. great storytelling.. hopefully I'll be able to read it in my head like he would tell it- now that I've listened to 2.5 hours of his voice. Fantastic guest.

This man is hands down one of the most intelligent, well spoken, and most importantly wise men I have ever been blessed to get to know if only very briefly through this interview. He should be cherished and viewed as a source of wisdom. Mistakes he made, lessons he learned. Love he made, and children he raised.

I think what made his success in the cartel as a smuggler was he was himself. A humble honest man who never said he could do anything he could not. When your a straight shooter you never have nothing to worie about
