Thought to be long-lost here is what some consider to be the Holy Grail of the Velocette World.

Acquired from Simon Goodman (inherited from his late father Bertie Goodman) this unique & historically significant machine was built by his grandfather Percy Goodman and is the only surviving Veloce built during the Edwardian era (pre-1910).

The keel of the RMS Titanic had not yet been laid down in Belfast when this motorcycle was first being used on English roads in 1907.

Stored near the boardroom at Hall Green this bike was in big pieces, in a cupboard, all the way through Veloce Ltd’s golden era. From Velocette's first TT wins in the 1920’s, through their TT wins in the late 1930’s, past the Roarer, the Model O, the Post-War TT & World Championship wins then; the Vipers, the Venoms, the LE, the lot – beyond even the 24-Hour World Record – this machine was always around, in the cupboard, near the boardroom (right up to February 1971).

Originally built whilst Company founder John Goodman was still alive, it was always considered to be the Goodman family's heirloom & was in their possession for four generations.
