Both playoff games did not disappoint.

Absolutely nuts how that UW running back gets hurt and that alone gives UT a chance to win. 35 seconds would have come off that clock. Insane rule that severely punishes the offense for getting injured. Wow.

The Washington DB used perfect technique to defend the last pass of the game. 1. He played the ball (not the man). 2. He attacked the ball at the highest peak. 3. He kept his eye on the ball. (An old axiom in all sports) Defensive backs today are not being taught these things. This guy used proper, time tested techniques. As an old ex-defensive back, he made me proud!!!

The last 2 undefeated teams in the Championship. They got it right.

A Michigan/Washington National Championship is exactly what the College Football world needed. Two undefeated teams No SEC teams Two most deserving teams

I’m a Longhorn fan, but I’m actually kind of happy Washington won this. If we would have won this on that final drive, it would have felt like highway robbery. We’d be thanking the lord for that poor Husky getting injured, giving us 30-40 extra seconds. It just wouldn’t feel right. Congratulations Washington.

im so glad they won because the injured player that gave them that 30 seconds extra, that would be a really hard thing to get over if they actually lost the game
-
Both this season's CFP National Semifinal games were breathtaking. Next Monday in Houston's NRG Stadium, one team will be 15-0 with a title to boot.

These playoffs have been unreal!

Oh there's no question that's one of the more painful endings I've watched as a Huskie fan and I am so so glad it's over. Now I can get some sleep😄

This was a game where the final score didn't represent how much better one team was than the other. I think even Texas fans would admit that in a couple of days after they've cooled off. For some of us west coast fans that have lost our conference due to moronic and inexcusable conference 'leadership' it's very nice to see a traditional PAC 12 and Big 10 face off for the title after so many decades of playing each other in the Rose Bowl when regional and inter regional and traditional rivalries still meant something.

That poor kid that got injured, if they would have lost that would be brutal for him.
-
Finally a worthy college playoff. They got the final 4 right 🎉
-
As an MSU fan, we played both these teams this year and that’s what pushed them to make it this far 💀
-
The game would have been over without all the drama without the injury to the RB that gave Texas about 30 extra seconds, but still a great game and correct team won.

HUSKIES!!! 💜☔️💜 Almost had a heart attack 🤪
-
As a USC fan, seeing Texas marching down the field gave me Flash backs to when Vince Young did it in the national championship game.
-
Michael Penix is the best QB in college football by far, stop playing !

ALABAMA AND TEXAS (BOTH TEAMS THAT ESPN LOVES SINCE ONE IS IN THE SEC AND WILL JOIN THE SEC) LOST! TODAY IS A GREAT DAY

Texas had break after breaking that final 90 seconds. Every little thing that could go against Washington went against them. Yet the Huskies held on.
