"easily a top 5 arm in the NFL Today" Bold
  • The fact is that Penix might be a real challenge to Cousins. But that’s really going to stir up controversy nobody really needed.
  • @Michael-ms8xy
Was that an Ian Rapoport interview or just Tom talking the whole time?
  • @prst4190
    “We’ll never be picking 8th again…”. LOL
  • @Whiskey61
The idea of drafting a QB to replace a starter is fine. But Jordan Love was 20 years old with 2 years of college experience and obvious untapped potential. Penix is 24, has played 6 years of college football and is likely near his ceiling.
  • 4:23 'Jordan Love looks pretty good' but the Packers, by 'planning for the future' WASTED 2 - count 'em 2! - MVP seasons not taking a 'win now' attitude. Having a 10 year plan is great in the business world but if your goal is to WIN A SUPER BOWL, sometimes you've got to go all in (and not how Jerry does it). They let their loyal fan base down by not giving Aaron a chance for a 2nd SB before he left GB. I feel that way and I'M A LIONS FAN!
  • @TecMatt
Who was collapsing the pocket in the title game? I don't recall Alabama being there
  • This one was so funny. Papoport: The Penix pick is good because Cousins is mid at best.
  • @KB1993_
Did he just say Alabama was collapsing Penix’s pocket in the National Championship? Rich, fire this guy immediately.

Rap sheet somehow someway is on falcons payroll or jus tryna maintain access because there’s no spin that makes this fine. Either Kirk plays poorly and they wasted 100M, or he plays well stays for several years and they never get the benefit of seeing Penix play on his rookie contract let alone the fact he’ll be 27-28 by the time he takes over. This is nothing like Jordan love outside of the fact that Penix plays quarterback
  • @Tony525_
Is Cousins the highest paid QB? I thought it was Burrows at 55mil...67 is wild...He gets right under 4 million per game
  • I think that "Jordan Love being a good pick" is revisionist history. Who knows if they had drafted a 1st round OLineman, a better receiver, a Safety etc. Maybe they wouldve gotten over the hump against the Niners or Tampa and won a SB. Is it better just to always be good enough to go to the playoffs and not win (or even go to) a Super Bowl? Or would it be better to go all in, win a Super Bowl and then maybe have a few bad years? Also, the Packers being bad last year wouldve left them in line to draft one of the QBs this year (GB easily couldve been 7-10 this year and had that #8 pick the Falcons had). So you never know when you may be in line to draft a young QB.

People were surprised when the 49ers drafted aiyuk in the first round a few years ago…. Look where he’s at now lol top 5 receiver in the league. If they waited until the 2nd round, slick Rick would’ve been gone
  • Thats just it, they are not spending (32nd) or resigning their own. Calling bs.
