I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, and hike in the city whenever I have free time. Or at least I did before the pandemic... I've walked across the Golden Gate, into that parking lot, and back at least half a dozen times. I'm so glad you got to have this experience. I'm glad to see that you're heading into the forests as well; I went to Yosemite, Sequoia, and Kings Canyon National Parks on an extended Memorial Day Weekend road trip last month. Enjoy my home state!

I visited San Francisco back in 1988. (I'm from Finland) It was my greatest dream since I saw 'Foul Play' when I was young. I will cherish those memories for the rest of my life.

Always cold there. I live an hour north. 2 days ago I drove through and went from sunny and 79 f to couldn't see the top of the bridge through fog and 59 f. Haha
