camping in northern california | easy weekend trip from san francisco

I decided to go on a camping trip from San Francisco pretty last minute and luckily, I was able to reserve a campground. It's pretty common for campgrounds to be booked out in Northern California in the summer, but I found a campsite just 2.5 hours north of SF. It was super quick and easy to reserve!

I brought out all my camping gear and spent one night camping. It was more like glamping, tbh. We cooked steak and food on the campfire, popped some camp bubbles (aka champagne), and chilled for most of the night. It's good to get away from the city and disconnect.
